PRAYER FOR PROTECTION
Heavenly Father,
Tonight we come before You with confidence, knowing that You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust. As severe weather moves through our area, we ask for Your hand of protection to rest upon every member of Gracepoint Church, their families, their homes, and their property.
LORD, place Your hedge of protection around us. Keep every family safe from harm. Shield every house from destruction, every vehicle from danger, and every loved one from injury. Let Your angels encamp around Your people throughout this night. Calm every fearful heart and replace anxiety with peace that passes understanding.
Father, we pray against every tornado, damaging wind, and storm that would threaten our community. We ask for Your mercy upon Evansville and the surrounding areas. Guide emergency responders, protect those who are traveling, and give wisdom to every family making decisions for their safety.
Let us remember Your promise: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Cover us beneath Your wings. Let no evil befall us, and let no disaster come near our dwelling. Bring us safely through the night and allow us to awaken tomorrow with grateful hearts, ready to give You praise.
