God's Great Circus. Vacation Bible School.
Day 4. Old Testament story: The kids heard about how God called David when he was a child and God continued to be with David always.
New Testament story: The kids heard about how Jesus called the children to him. Jesus calls to each of us and welcomes us into the church and community. just as we are.
Friday: Carnival games during game time. Parents, please try to attend the closing ceremonies at 12:10.

God's Great Circus is this week's Vacation Bible School theme. The kids are learning the who, what, and how we welcome and include everyone in God's Love. They are looking at stories from both the Hebrew scriptures and the New Testament to see examples of how God's Love is for us and for all People.
Monday, they talked about Danial taming the lion and Zacchaeus climbing a tree to try and see Jesus. Today is WATER DAY!
Welcome one another, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. (Romans 15:7)

Let's Celebrate our Graduate!
Please join us after worship today to celebrate Eva Buenau as she graduates from Junction City High School. Eva's post-graduation plans are to help with VBS this summer, travel to Virginia for the summer service trip, hang with friends and family, and attend Pacific Lutheran University in the fall. Eva would love to celebrate this important milestone with her church family with a plethora of cookies.

The Interfaith Hospitality Committee is in the process of organizing the Saturday, June 27 Pride Celebration, which will take place at the Lane Events Center. Interfaith will be hosting an
area where everyone is invited to rest, visit and get a snack and a cool bottle of water. Volunteers from different faith communities make this happen! 1:00 pm - An option for former interns and guests to continue to mix with the congregation at Doris Ranch.

Sunday, July 19, 9:30 am worship - Pastor Dodd will preach with Pastor Eric Dull presiding. Immediately following worship, there will be a forum and potluck brunch. The former interns will each be invited to share what has happened in their lives since their time at ULC.

On Sunday, August 16, United Lutheran will celebrate our years at Camp Lutherwood. Worship will be at 10:00 am at camp, followed by lunch. More information to come.

Oregon Synodical Women’s Organization Gathering and Bible Study
“Putting the Pieces Together”
You are invited to a gathering of Oregon synod women on Saturday, May 30th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 507 W. Powell Blvd, Gresham. There will be a Zoom link provided for those who are unable to attend in person. We plan to gather for Bible Study with a theme of “God , pick up the pieces. Put me back together again.
