As summer winds down, here are three important updates:
Church on the Lawn + Let’s Do Lunch | Sunday, August 30
Join us for worship on the lawn, followed by lunch together! We’ll provide the chicken; please bring a favorite side dish, salad, or dessert to share. It’s going to be a wonderful Sunday with our church family!
Preschool Update
After more than 80 years of serving children and families, our preschool will pause operations for the 2026–27 school year. We are deeply grateful for our staff, families, and the generations who have been part of this ministry.
During this pause, we will consider the changing needs of younger families, current trends, and creative ideas for ministering to our neighborhood. We remain excited about finding new ways to bless preschoolers, serve families, and invest in the next generation.
Save the Date | Annual Business Meeting + 85th Anniversary Celebration — Sunday, September 27
This year’s Annual Business Meeting will also be a celebration of Willamette’s 85th anniversary! We’ll mark the occasion with a 1941-style lunch featuring ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and cobbler. It’s going to be a great day of celebrating God’s faithfulness and looking forward to the future together...the Next Chapter starts now!
There is so much to look forward to as we finish the summer and step into an exciting fall!

Willamette Invitational Golf Tournament
Join us Saturday, September 19, at 8:00 AM at Middlefield Village for a fun four-person scramble! Men and women of all skill levels are welcome. The cost is $50 per golfer and includes 18 holes, a power cart, snacks, prizes, and lunch. Sign up at mywillamette.info.
