On Sunday, May 3rd, 2:00 PM, we will gather in the auditorium to celebrate the amazing life of our friend, Houston Sheppard. We hope you will join us as we honor his life, rejoice in the hope we have in Christ, and thank God for the gift of Houston. Afterwards, we will gather in conversation and shared memories in the lobby, over cookies, pies, and donuts....some of Houston's favorite things.
Well done good and faithful servant. We miss you already.

Before the celebration of Easter… there’s a moment to pause.

Tonight at 6:30 PM in the Fireside Room, we’re creating space to slow down, reflect, and come back to the heart of the story.

We’ll gather around the Lord’s Table with prayer, worship, and a few powerful scenes from The Chosen to guide us. Not rushed. Not routine. Just meaningful.

🌅 Come celebrate Easter with us on Sunday, April 5
— a morning filled with hope, joy, and community as we remember and rejoice together.

Start your day at sunrise with a peaceful outdoor gathering, then bring the whole family back for a fun-filled morning designed for all ages.

Here’s what the morning looks like:
• 6:30 AM – Sunrise Service at the Barn (Eugene Campus)
• 9:45 AM – Easter Egg Hunt (Birth–5th Grade)
• 10:30 AM – Easter Celebration Service

Friends, you’re invited to a big Sunday at Willamette tomorrow!

It’s Baptism Sunday, and we’re celebrating 10 people going public with their faith across our Eugene + JC Campuses. There is nothing like seeing lives changed right in front of you—this is going to be a powerful day.

It’s also Kids in Worship Sunday (every 3rd Sunday), which means our kids will be in first part of the service with their families. It’s an important moment for them to see what it looks like when adults love God out loud—singing, listening, praying, and leaning in together.

And after service… it’s Let’s Do Lunch 🍽️
We’ll have some great comfort food in the lobby, but honestly the best part is the extra time to talk—strengthening friendships and making new ones.

I’ll be teaching from 1 Peter 5:5–11, and there’s a clear subject in this passage…and it’s probably not what you think. Peter talks about the work of the devil, and he shows us two places where we do battle.

Let’s talk about it.
