I have always enjoyed the traditional pomp and circumstance of the British royals. We lived in Canada for two years of my life and sang “God Save the Queen” at school every day.
I find it fascinating how everything the Brits do in celebrations has meaning rooted in the centuries before.
Even though the royal family has personal challenges and there are estrangements, they will walk through the this weekend’s festivities with their chins up and continue the traditions of the monarchy.
I look foreword to every minute of the coronation of King Charles this weekend. It is indeed history in the making.
God Save the King
