How do we keep what God has done in one generation from being forgotten by the next?

In Passing the Faith Forward, Pastor Shannon shares from Deuteronomy 6 about the importance of allowing God’s Word to become real in us before we try to pass it on to others. A powerful encounter with God matters, but lasting faith is formed as we listen to His Word, love Him with our whole lives, remember His faithfulness, and make our faith part of everyday life.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, mentor, teacher, or simply someone who wants your life to make a difference, someone is coming behind you. Our children and the next generation need more than our rules. They need our testimony. They need to hear what Jesus has done for us and see a faith that is real.

Big Idea: God’s Word must become real in us before it can be faithfully passed through us.
