This past Sunday, St. John kicked off the new Sunday School year with a picnic! Due to the warm temperatures, we brought the party inside, but still had lots of fun, food, and root b**r floats.

The first week of Sunday School classes is September 13. Classes meet in the Sanctuary at 10am before heading to their respective classrooms.

Happy First Day of School! We pray God's Blessings on the new school year!

This past Sunday, we installed our new CDC Director and rededicated our whole Ministry Staff for another year of service serving The Ministry of St. John. We give thanks to God for their strengths, knowledge, readiness, and willingness to serve.

As final preparations are being made today, we pray for our teachers here at St. John Lutheran School - Seward and St John Child Development Center as well as Trinity Academy at Concordia University. We also pray for all of our area teachers in their vocations. Finally, we also lift up our ministry partner, Concordia University, Nebraska, as they prepare to welcome not-so-little children in the coming weeks.
