On Father’s Day, we give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who have shared God’s love through their words, actions, and example.
One of the greatest gifts a father can give is a faith rooted in Christ. Through prayer, worship, conversations around God’s Word, and a faithful example, fathers have opportunities to encourage the next generation in their walk with the Savior.
As we celebrate today, consider reaching out to a father, grandfather, mentor, or other Christian role model who has influenced your life. You may also find an opportunity to invite someone you love to join you in worship and hear again the promises God gives us in Christ.
We thank God for the fathers, grandfathers, and mentors who reflect the love of our Heavenly Father in their words and example.
