Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and all those whose lives were forever changed.
Today, as we witness so much anger, fear, and division around us, remembrance asks something of us: What will we choose?
As Unitarian Universalists, we choose compassion over hatred, understanding over fear, and connection over division.
May we remember not only the tragedy, but also the kindness and courage that emerged from it.
We remember. We choose love. We choose one another.
