This video is more than a recap of a mission trip, it is a glimpse of what happens when ordinary people say “yes” to serve.

Every smile, every embrace, every act of service reflects hearts that are willing to shine His light in places that need it most. I am continually humbled by the servant hearts of this team. Their love is real. Their sacrifice is quiet. Their impact is needed.

If you’ve ever wondered how you could make a difference… this is it.
We would love for you to join us.

On Wednesday, our team had the opportunity to visit Rancho Ebenezer and El Picacho.

🏘 Rancho Ebenezer is a family-based children’s center where displaced Honduran children receive care for their basic needs, individual nurturing, emotional healing, preparation for a successful future, and an introduction to the love of Christ. They also provide an excellent education with a bilingual emphasis through Ebenezer Academy.

Rancho Ebenezer is staffed and supported by individual missionaries, service teams like ours, child sponsorship programs, and WGO’s private coffee reserve. ☕️

Our team had a blast playing soccer with the children (we suffered a brutal loss with a final score of 4–0). We also toured the ranch, including their school, homes, and their impressive coffee fields. One of our child sponsors even had the opportunity to spend time with the child they sponsor.

🌄 El Picacho is a beautiful national park in Honduras. On our way back from the ranch, we stopped to walk around and take in the incredible views, including the large statue of Jesus that overlooks the city of Tegucigalpa.

Happy Saturday from the states!

Our 2026 team has officially made it home safely. Thank you all for your prayers. With that being said, we’d like to share more special moments from our trip that we haven’t had to chance to post yet. We try to “unplug” from our phones as much as we can while we’re there, so stay tuned for more posts with captured substance from the trip. ❤️ 🎥

Chosen To Shine’s last day in Honduras 🇭🇳

We had our second medical bridge in a different community, and construction of the church continued! For this we split into two teams — medical and construction. Please keep us in your prayers tomorrow as we travel back to the states.

✨ Team medical

✝️ Evangelism: 6 people accepted Christ, and 7 people recommitted to following Jesus

🏥 Medical: 190 people

🦷 Dental: 38 people

🤓 Optical: 73 people

💦 Water filters: We provided 6 water filters to families as well as rice & beans. These provided clean water for families for up to 10 years as long as they’re maintained.

✨ Team construction

Today they were the elite team of 10; the grind didn’t stop for our last day. The church isn’t finished, as it will take more time than allowed in 1 week. So we will continue to pray over their church while we’re gone, any people or teams that continue construction on the church this year. May God keep them safe and healthy as they work on this project, as it’s all for the glory of God.

Construction continued today, along with our water filter crews. It was a sweaty one, but that didn’t stop this team.

🪏There was many cylinder blocks moved, a lot of shoveling dirt and rock involved, and the jack-hammer was renamed to the “ethan and bryn-hammer.”

💧 Several water filters were assembled and provided to families in need between our morning and afternoon crews, as well as rice and bean bags.

We were grateful to have the opportunity to be apart of this incredible build and work closely alongside the amazing construction team, as well as meet and pray with different families today from the community. God is so good.

Thank you for your continued prayers from home. ❤️

Medical brigade #1 and hundreds of lives changed, plus the start of construction on a church for this community. Our cups are so full of joy. Our foot was on the gas today, and Jesus had the wheel.

In medical, 87 adults and 57 children were seen and treated. In dental, 15 adults and 11 children were seen. Some extractions were done and all were provided cleaning, fluoride, and a toothbrush. In optical, 46 adults and 19 children were seen, many were provided with prescription glasses that were donated to chosen to shine.

In construction, our team poured everything they had into the laborous work that was at hand, all for the greater plan and glory of God. It’s safe to say, we have some strong men and women on our team not just spiritually, but physically too. It’s also safe to say, some of us will be very sore when we return home.

🥁 🥁 🥁
In Evangelism, 4 people accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts as their Lord and savior, 4 people decided to recommit their life to God, and 76 others heard about the gospel and received our prayers.

He is such a good and loving God. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Thank you World Gospel Outreach for everything you do and for the great photos.
