We remember jingles from decades ago but forget God's faithfulness from last week.

This Sunday we explored Joshua 4, where God commanded Israel to stop and build a memorial of 12 stones before their next battle. Why? Because faith needs memory.
👉These stones weren't decorations—they were conversation starters for future generations asking, "What do these mean?"

The same God who parted the Red Sea dried up the Jordan River. The same God who brought them out brought them in. And the same Jesus who died on the cross rose from the dead for us.
🧐When the next generation asks about our faith, will we have stories to tell? Will they see stones in our lives that point them to a faithful God?

Your faithfulness today echoes into generations you may never meet. The prayers you pray, the worship you prioritize, the Scripture you open—these become stones that invite questions and point to Jesus.

✨What stones are you setting up for those who come after you?

As the day nears its end, we must remember the true reason for Memorial Day. Today is more than a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer — it is a day to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We remember their sacrifice.
We honor their courage.
We pray for their families.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friend," -John 15:13

✨Next Sunday (5/31) BridgeKids will be starting a new series

In our new series, Be Like Jesus, BridgeKids will discover that the Holy Spirit helps us to be more like our Savior. God’s Spirit works in us as we learn to love others, live a life of joy, and trust that God always does what He says He will do. We become faithful followers as we grow closer to our faithful leader.

Starting June 7th, The Bridge will be opened weekly as space for anyone who wants to slow down, pray, and personally seek the Lord.

This won’t be a formal service or a Bible study—just a quiet, intentional time to come before God in prayer, reflection, and worship. Whether you’re carrying something heavy, needing direction, or simply wanting space to be still with God, you’re invited to come.

Prayer & Presence will be a simple weekly opportunity to draw near to the Lord and be alongside others who are doing the same.

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” — James 4:8

In the final week of the Power of the Spirit series, BridgeKids will explore Ephesians 6 in God’s big story where Paul encourages Jesus-followers to stand firm against the devil’s evil plans by putting on spiritual armor and relying on the Holy Spirit for strength.

In our story, Paul encouraged followers of Jesus to take up the shield of faith and put on the armor of God.
What does it mean to you to take up the shield of faith? Comment below👇

Before the walls of Jericho ever fell, God was already at work in the most unexpected place—in the heart of Rahab, a Canaanite pr******te living inside a city marked for judgment.
👉Her story in Joshua 2 reveals something powerful: real faith trusts what God has done before it sees what God will do.

Rahab heard about the Red Sea. She heard about God's deliverance. And from those stories, she made an incredible confession: "The Lord your God is God in heaven above and on earth below."
👉She didn't wait for proof—she took refuge in God's mercy while the walls still stood strong.

Her past didn't disqualify her. Her background didn't matter. What mattered was that she surrendered to the God of mercy. And that same mercy is available to you today. Don't wait until everything makes sense.
✨Hear what God has done through Jesus, confess who He is, and take refuge in Him now.

This Sunday, we’re heading into one of the most surprising stories in Joshua.

Before the battles begin, before the Jordan is crossed, and before the walls of Jericho fall, the story takes an unexpected turn toward an unlikely person with an unlikely faith.

Joshua 2 is a reminder that God is often at work in places — and people — we would never expect.

👉Join us Sunday as we continue our series in the Book of Joshua
