New Hope Church We exist to bring all people the hope of Jesus Christ.

If you have been wanting to meet more people, get more connected, build some relationships or maybe even start serving. We have just the things coming up for you!

1. New Comers Lunch - Sept. 13th at the ministry center after second service. Meet the pastoral team, connect with other new people here, enjoy lunch with us!
2. Growth Track - Sept. 27th at the ministry center after second service. If you’re ready to take a step deeper into your journey with God, learn about our church and how you can become a bigger part of what God is doing. This is the place!
3. Life Groups! We’re about to have our big fall life group launch. If you been looking for somewhere to get more connected with others outside of Sundays this is it. Whether it’s coffee, activities, men, women, couples, families or youth. There’s a place for you and people that want to know you! (Keep an eye out for info coming soon)

4. It wasn’t on here 😉 But church EVERY SUNDAY! At the AMC in edwardsville at 9:00 & 10:45am. Can’t wait to see you!

Unity isn’t as simple as it sounds. Division comes from everywhere, even in the church, even in our own families.

We take our preferences and treat them like they’re God’s commands. Your way becomes “the way.”

So this week we looked at who God actually is. Three persons, perfectly unified as one. Not uniform. Not identical. Unified.
So what do we do? Be quick to forgive, slow to be offended, willing to let the mission matter more than being right. We’ve already been forgiven of what we didn’t deserve. So why wouldn’t we forgive others.

A church that actually looks like that? That’s what points people to Jesus.

Just started coming around New Hope? Been coming for a little bit but still aren’t sure who keeps New Hope running? Want to meet other people that come to New Hope and are excited to meet you?

Then Newcomers Lunch is for you! We do this every couple of months to make sure those who started coming recently have a low pressure way to meet other people from the church and some of the staff! We want this place to become a family for you. But not like the 3rd cousin you only see at holiday’s. We want this to be a family you see all the time. From Sundays at church to life groups during the week, serving opportunities and activities out and about in the community. This is that first step to get to know what this place is all about.

If you’re new then we hope to see you there! If you know someone that needs to be there send them this video and invite them! Even if you’ve been around new hope for a while you’re always welcome to come bring a new friend.

Back to School Sunday is always a special one. From the littlest just getting started, to those wrapping up their degrees. Of course we can’t forget all of the teachers and professors in between.

We are excited for another amazing school year and another year of opportunities in this community.

If you’re a new or returning student to SIUE, a parent or youth looking for a place to belong, or maybe a teacher looking for a community of faith. You’ll find it here.

We call New Hope a family. A place to belong. But the building isn’t what makes New Hope a family. Gatherings and events don’t make us a family. The people make New Hope a family.

Family is more than just Sundays. It’s dropping off a meal for one of the new moms in the church. It’s going and cheering at a sports game for one of the kids in youth. It’s getting dinner or coffee throughout the week just to check in and see how life is. It’s helping with a move. It’s getting together for a movie night. We see each other on more than just Sundays because we know the impact of community.

If you’ve never been to New Hope and you’re seeing this. We’d love for you to find belonging here. If you’re already a part of the New Hope family. Keep an eye out, there’s new people showing up every week. Don’t let them go unnoticed!
