Capitol City Spotlight 🌟

City Kids Adventure 2026

Last week was an incredible week at City Kids Adventure! 💡✨

Our kids had an amazing time shining a light on who Jesus really is. Through Bible lessons, discussions, crafts, games, snacks, and so much more, they learned about His love and truth in fun and engaging ways. The week was filled with laughter, excitement, and opportunities to grow in faith.

These photos are just a small glimpse of all the memories that were made! We are so thankful for every child who came and participated, and for the amazing volunteers who helped make the week so special.

We wrapped it all up with the kids singing the song they worked on throughout the week during Sunday morning services—a perfect way to celebrate all that God did!

Congratulations to our Camp Dodge City Serve Team!

We are proud to celebrate this amazing team for receiving the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Iowa National Guard Child & Youth Program for their dedicated support of military youth and families.

We are incredibly thankful for all they do and the countless ways they serve others. This honor is well deserved!

We're so thankful for our Decorating Volunteers and the many ways they help bring creativity and excitement to our spaces at Capitol City Church.

From holidays and special events to kids' parties and City Kids Adventure, they use their talents and hard work to transform ordinary spaces into fun, engaging, and memorable settings.

Thank you for serving behind the scenes and doing such an incredible job. We appreciate all you do! If you enjoy decorating, being creative, or helping prepare for special events, there is a place for you!
