Our Burger Burn fundraiser is on! The rain will be moved out, and it'll be dry, so come out and support Park Avenue's Youth Ministry. We will have the Fellowship Hall open, and we look forward to seeing all who come out!

What a wonderful Sunday it was! We are very thankful for a Sunday full of music, students, fellowship, and dedication. We celebrate with Jeffery Vivian, who rededicated himself to his faith! We're thankful to all who served and made such a great Sunday possible.

What an amazing time we had at our outdoor breakfast and worship this past Sunday! Thank you to everyone who made this special Sunday morning possible. It was great to gather around the table out in God's creation!

Church family, we have lost another great man this week when Ralph Woods passed away. His obituary is below, and we will celebrate Ralph's life at Park Avenue Christian Church on Thursday, September 3rd. Visitation will begin at 11 AM, with the service immediately following at Noon. Ralph Woods, 93, passed away on August 27, 2026 at Story Point Assisted Living in Norwalk, Iowa. Ralph was born on August 12, 1933, in Truro, Iowa, to Francis Osborne and George Woods. Ralph met the love of his life

We had such a fun time last week welcoming the entire staff at Park Avenue Elementary School for a breakfast to kick off their school year! Along with a pancake breakfast, we gave each teacher a bag of supplies for their classrooms and a book to add to their library. A big thank you to everyone who donated, served, cooked, set up, and cleaned; the day would not have been possible without each of you! We're praying for all of our students, school staff, faculty, and families as they begin their school year across the area!

Due to the loss of one of our members and the funeral scheduled on Saturday, we will cancel bingo for this month. We plan to call numbers and join in food and fellowship again on Friday, September 25th.
