The Quinto Family is in need of prayers this week and next. They are the family that Ericka McCroskey translate for at the Catholic Worker House. Their son, Jory-Estaban attended VBS this year. His mother is going to surgery in Iowa City next week. Thank you!

As we explored "Speak Truth to Power" this morning with examples of International Children's Peace award recipients , this afternoon's news featured a group of young people in Hawai'i suing for healthier air quality as did a similar group in Wyoming. If I can find a link I will share it.

MANY THANKS!!!
We helped the Lamoni Heartland Mission Center meets its goal of $1000 raised by at least 5 congregations for Trees for Guthrie Grove, our camp on the hill! And if you look at the tree carefully you will see that we doubled that goal! (Thank you, Kaylee Doerffler to seeing it first!)

Thank you, thank you, thank you from all the thousands of people who will live to enjoy the new trees!

Thank you to John and Diana for making the tree happen!

Thank you to Suzan Strandberg for the delicious apple cookies and apples to celebrate our success!

Thank you also to our fabulous pointer-outer, Marci Schrage for her winning smile while 'pointing out' the tree...
