Riverside has hosted many weddings over the years, but it’s not often that we get to host TWO generations of weddings! What a blessing it is to be able to watch young families grow and blossom so their children even consider church as “home”! Thank you to Joe & Jennifer Skelley and to Charlie & Maddie Moore for allowing Riverside to be part of your special day! May your marriages be blessed and guarded by God. ♥️

Our children’s sermon on Sunday was on Luke chapter 5. Luke tells the story of a tax collector. Back in Jesus’ day, tax collectors were cheats. No one liked them. Levi (Matthew) the tax collector followed Jesus right away when Jesus told him to. He even prepared a feast for Jesus. Do you say you will follow Jesus and then you don’t actually follow Him? Do you just say the words that you’re following Him and then do your own thing?
If you say you’re going to follow Jesus and then don’t actually follow Him, you’re not a follower of Christ. Jesus came to call all sinners(us) to repentance!
