Pastors & Wives from all over Illinois recently enjoyed a retreat weekend in East Peoria. Pastor Dean Taylor brought encouragement from the Word, and his wife Faith was a blessing to our ladies. It was an encouraging, relaxing, and fun weekend away with partners in ministry!

Camp Manitoumi Announces Search for New Executive Director

The Executive Committee of Camp Manitoumi, serving as the Executive Director Search Committee, has been meeting regularly over the past several months to prayerfully discern next steps in this leadership transition. As a result of this process, we are now prepared to formally begin the search for our next Executive Director, trusting the Lord to guide us as we look ahead with confidence and anticipation for the future of the ministry.

This leadership transition will not impact any scheduled programs for the upcoming summer or fall seasons. All camps, retreats, and events will proceed as planned, and our team is fully committed to delivering the same Christ-centered, high-quality experience families and churches have come to trust.

We are prayerfully seeking the individual God is preparing to lead Camp Manitoumi forward in its mission of reaching young people with the Gospel and strengthening churches through vibrant camp ministry. Qualified candidates are invited to submit a resume and any supporting materials to our Board President, Pastor Josh Palma (email: [email protected]). During this season, our Program Director, Eric Lloyd, is available for Camp Presentations in churches. If your church would like to schedule a presentation or learn more about how Camp Manitoumi partners with local ministries, please reach out.

We are excited about what God has in store this summer! We encourage parents and churches to begin planning now to send campers. Online registration will open on February 20.

2025 Pastors & Wives Retreat is off to a great start! Dr. Jim Tillottson, president of Faith Baptist Bible College, is doing a tremendous job of encouraging the ministry couples that are here.

Thank you, churches, for loving your pastor and wife well and encouraging them to attend events like this. It really IS important.
