🙌 TONIGHT!!!!

Many of us imagine spiritual growth as a steady climb upward. In reality, the journey of faith is rarely linear. It’s filled with moments of joy and struggle, clarity and confusion—times when we feel close to God and times when we are learning to trust Him again. Yet through every high and low, Jesus is faithfully shaping us into His image.

In our brand new Midweek study, Becoming Like Jesus, Matt Chandler walks us through the Beatitudes in Matthew 5, where Jesus describes the surprising qualities that define life in His kingdom. Poverty in spirit, godly sorrow, meekness, a hunger and thirst for righteousness, mercy, purity of heart, peacemaking, and perseverance in trials—these are not traits we develop overnight. They are formed slowly as the Holy Spirit works in us and as we walk alongside others in faith.

Through these six sessions, you’ll discover how the Beatitudes serve as a roadmap for spiritual formation, guiding believers toward a deeper, more authentic life with Christ.

Our Midweek Service also includes our children's ministry, Faith Kids! Your children will learn the truths of the Bible with Biblically sound Gospel presentations and growth applications built into each lesson. Nursery care is also provided!

🙌 DEACON ORDINATION SERVICE!!!!

Join us on Friday, June 5, at 6:00 PM for a special Deacon Ordination Service at Faith Baptist Church of South Shores.

This meaningful service will be a time of worship, prayer, and celebration as we officially recognize and ordain Brother Derek Tipsword and Brother Mike McCoy for the work of Gospel ministry as deacons.

We will also honor Brother Richard Simmons with the title of Deacon Emeritus in recognition of his many years of faithful service to our church family and to the Kingdom of God. His example of humble leadership, steadfast faith, and servant-hearted ministry has left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Following the service, we invite everyone to stay for a time of fellowship with a meal and refreshments.

We hope you'll join us as we celebrate God's faithfulness and pray for these men as they continue to serve Christ and His Church.

At Faith Baptist Church of South Shores, our Worship Arts Ministry exists to glorify Jesus Christ by leading His people in authentic, Spirit-led worship. Rooted in God’s Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we aim to create an atmosphere free from distraction where people encounter the presence of God, respond in adoration, and grow in their faith.

This ministry isn’t about performance — it’s about lifting high the name of Jesus and pointing others to His glory, love, and power!
