Torah and Science

G-d's Torah has deep wisdom on every meaningful topic, especially something as unusual and awe-inspiring as a full solar eclipse.

The Dallas Community Kollel is excited to host an extremely unique event, sharing the Torah viewpoint on a solar eclipse and other related topics. Some of the greatest Jewish experts will be joining, including Rabbis, Professors and Doctors, who have great knowledge on this subject matter. Regardless of the speakers, title or topic, there will be one goal: to "shine light" on how science and Torah come together to bring sanctification to G-d's name, as the Creator of the world and the Author of the Torah. There will be scientific lectures, discussions and shiurum on halacha (torah law), aggada (lessons that can be extrapolated), and machshava (deeper understanding). It promises to be a very special one-day event!
