What's in your wallet? It's a question from a famous commercial, but Jesus asked something far deeper when the Pharisees tried to trap him in Matthew 22:15-20. Whose image do you bear, and how are you letting that image guide you?

Jesus reminded his questioners that the coin belonged to Caesar because it bore Caesar's image. But we bear the image of God. That means everything we are and everything we have belongs to Him, not just a percentage, but all of it, rendered back to God through small daily acts of love, generosity, and virtue.

The world changes not when Jesus fixes things from the outside, but when Christ transforms us from the inside. We are the ones called to carry His image into every relationship, every decision, and every act of service.

Whose image are you carrying today?

Grace is not a free pass. It is a free invitation -- but one that asks everything of us once we walk through the door.

This Sunday, Pastor Tom unpacked the Parable of the Wedding Banquet in Matthew 22:1-14, where Jesus reveals that God's kingdom is wide open -- not just for the expected guests, but for everyone. The catch? Showing up is only the beginning. Receiving grace means allowing it to change you from the inside out.

As Dietrich Bonhoeffer warned against "cheap grace," we are reminded that true grace received means a life transformed. We cannot accept the invitation and remain exactly the same.

Are you showing up -- or are you showing out? Come as you are, but do not leave the same way you arrived.

What defines you? Your accomplishments, your awards, your history? The Apostle Paul had an impressive resume -- and he called it all rubbish compared to knowing Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:4-13).

This Sunday, we explored what it means to stop gripping the past so tightly that we cannot reach for what God has for us right now. Paul did not press on because of where he had been. He pressed on because of where he was going -- toward the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.

Your resume does not define you. God has something greater ahead. Forget what lies behind. Strain forward. Press on.

Join us next Sunday as we continue to discover what it looks like to move forward in faith, grace, and the freedom that only Christ can give.
