We had plenty to celebrate this Father’s Day as we honored dads, heard a live testimony, and witnessed five baptisms in the Pond! ☀️ In the message, TA walked us through the ministry of Paul and Barnabas described in Acts 14. Their example challenged us to live with the same supernatural grit, gospel-given security, and clarity of calling for the sake of the gospel.

Comment “Sunday” and we’ll send the YouTube link straight to your DMs. 📥 You can also watch or listen to the message on watermark.org, the Watermark app, or wherever you stream.

We also recognize that today can be difficult for many. If you're carrying grief, loss, or unmet longing, we're praying for you and grateful you're here.

We hope you’ll join us today at 9 AM, 11:15 AM, or 4 PM as we worship together as a church family. See you soon!

On June 19, 1865, news of freedom finally reached enslaved people in Texas. Juneteenth reminds us of a painful part of our nation's history, but today we celebrate the inherent worth of every person and the unity available in Christ. 🙌

We thank God for the end of racial slavery in our country, grieve the sin and suffering it caused, and celebrate the dignity of every person made in God’s image (Genesis 1:27).

The saving work of Jesus unites previously divided people and makes them one family in Christ, freeing us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Ephesians 2:14-18).

Our Watermark Worship team is invested in growing and discipling the young worship leaders in our church. If your student (grades 6 - 12) is musically gifted and has a heart for leading worship, sign them up for Student Worship Camp this summer! 🙌

This three-day worship training event is designed for musically-inclined Watermark Students who are looking to grow in their music skills and develop a theology of worship. Taking place over July 28 - 30, students will engage in instrument breakout sessions, band rehearsals, and showcases for guitarists, keyboardists, drummers, vocalists, and bass players.

Did you know that Join The Journey has weekly content and a podcast for kids? 🤯 Join The Journey Jr. is a modified version of the adult reading plan and focus areas designed just for kids. Our hope with JTJ Jr. is to open doors for parents to disciple their kids as they abide in Jesus and enjoy God’s Word together as a family.

Find the weekly reading plan content at jointhejourney.com/jr and listen to the podcast "Join The Journey Junior" wherever you stream podcasts.

Sunday was something special. Walking us through Acts 13, Marvin Walker, Campus Pastor at Watermark South Dallas, gave us a timely reminder not to miss the moments God places in front of us. Rather than waiting for a different season or clearer circumstances, we're invited to trust that God is already at work and respond faithfully to what he's calling us to today.

Watch or listen to the message "Don't Miss Your Moment" on YouTube, watermark.org, the Watermark app, or wherever you stream.

Families, you've been hearing about it on Sundays, and we also want to remind you here while you scroll (😉)—Every Generation July is happening again this summer at Watermark! Here's what you need to know:

WHAT IS EVERY GENERATION JULY?
Watermark Kids (yellow – grade 5) and Wake (grades 6 – 8) are on summer break for the month of July to allow our church to worship together with every generation.

WHAT WILL SUNDAY SERVICE LOOK LIKE?
Parents can expect a shortened service, some activities for younger kids, and time to worship together as a church family.

WHEN DOES KIDS MINISTRY RETURN?
Watermark Kids and Wake will return on August 2 for Promotion Sunday, when every kid and student will move up a grade level. But until then, let’s welcome the next generation to "big church”! 🙌

There's a huge difference between simply "not eating" and spiritually fasting. Fasting is a Christian's voluntary abstinence from something good for a predetermined amount of time and for a spiritual purpose.

If you're struggling during your fast, consider if you have solidified a spiritual purpose for your fast. The goal of spiritually fasting is to be physically empty so that you can be full spiritually. To learn more about fasting, watch or listen to the message "Great Days Ahead" on YouTube, watermark.org, or wherever you stream.

And plan to join us tonight for a Night of Prayer and Worship at 7 PM in the Auditorium at Watermark Community Church. All ages welcome, and ASL interpreting will be provided. If you can't make it, we will be live-streaming this event on YouTube, Facebook, and our website. See you tonight!
