Community Bible Study (CBS) is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and it reaches over 140,000 people around the world. CBS offers more than 25 courses which cover most of the Old and New Testaments. Every CBS Class is designed to be a caring environment that supports each member as she engages in God's Word both personally and corporately. Participation in CBS includes personal study; a Core Group

discussion facilitated by a trained leader; a teaching covering a particular scriptural passage; and a Commentary that reviews and clarifies the weekly lesson. There are monthly Fellowship luncheons to encourage interconnectedness. In addition, the Dallas Central CBS Class provides a Children's Program Program for infants through preschool with trained teachers and a yearly curriculum offered to the children/grandchildren of the women in the class. This page is created and administered by the Dallas Central CBS Class for the purpose of informing its membership and welcoming the local community to participate, if desired. It is not the official site of Community Bible Study; however, it has been designed in keeping with CBS vision and precepts.

Are you a new mom? Know a friend you want to ask to CBS but she is about to have a baby? BRING THEM ON! Our new moms group is an amazing g way for moms to come frazzled or all together, late or on time , with all make up or no make up or yesterday’s make up, with their lesson totally complete or a “shoot my bible is still somewhere at home.” Bring those babies with you and have a sweet year of bonding with mamas in the exact same place.

Thankful for all our sheep at CBS sheep and our good food shepherd.

“Sheep can get their head caught in briers and die trying to get untangled. There are horrid little flies that like to torment sheep by laying eggs in their nostrils which turn into worms and drive the sheep to beat their head against a rock, sometimes to death. Their ears and eyes are also susceptible to tormenting insects. So the shepherd anoints their whole head with oil. Then there is peace. That oil forms a barrier of protection against the evil that tries to destroy the sheep. Do you have times of mental torment? Do the worrisome thoughts invade your mind over and over? Do you beat your head against a wall trying to stop them? Have you ever asked God to anoint your head with oil? He has an endless supply! His oil protects and makes it possible for you to fix your heart, mind, and eyes on Him today and always! There is peace in the valley! We are so excited to get the news of our study for next year- RETURN TO JERUSALEM!
Israel is returning from Babylon and in spite of their sin, weakness and doubt, God was true to His promises to His people rebuild and restore their broken lives. We will see the big picture of God’s work in history and we will be inspired by the examples of some of God’s servants who played significant roles in fulfilling His purposes.
