We continued teacher training when the whole staff attended the Early Childhood Christian Network Annual Conference. It was two days of professional development where we got to hear from industry experts on the latest child development research and best practices for the preschool classroom.

AUGUST/SEPTEMBER Recap!
At beginning of August, we started off teacher training for the new year with a Lead Teacher Mini Leadership Retreat at GEORGE Coffee and Provisions in Coppell. It was such a nice morning of connecting and gearing up for the school year. Over the summer, we read The Way of the Shepherd by Shepherd by Kevin Leman and used it to discuss how we can be better leaders throughout the school year - leading the children, parents and other teachers.
