Cypress Assistance Ministries

Cypress Assistance Ministries CAM is a local nonprofit providing assistance to people who have fallen on hard times. can be chosen by the client.

CAM is here to offer a helping hand to individuals and families in crisis. The counselors in the Assistance Office will interview, assess needs and lay out a plan for a family to get back on their feet. This may include paying a bill, giving food from the Food Pantry, and giving a voucher for Angels’ Attic so that clothing, shoes, dishes, furniture, etc. Our program, Operation Jobs, can prepare a

resume, offer job coaching, and provide use of a computer lab for job searches. CAM’s Adult Education classes offer GED preparation and English as a Second Language. Backpacks and school supplies are provided during back-to-school time, holiday meals are provided at Easter and Thanksgiving, and at Christmas families receive food for the holidays along with toys for their children.

As we prepare for CAM's 2026 Backpack & School Supply Distribution event, we invite our community partners and neighbors to join us in making a meaningful difference for local children and families in need.

Your support helps ensure that Cypress-Fairbanks ISD students begin the school year equipped, confident, and ready to succeed.

Participating students will also receive a clothing voucher to Angels' Attic Resale Store!

Bingo Night with CAM was an absolute blast! We are extremely grateful to the Cy-Fair Women's Club who did a phenomenal job of serving our guests and volunteering to make for a hugely successful event.

These ladies also presented us with a check to support the purchase of two additional handheld POS systems that will help tremendously with future events. Thank you, Pink Ladies!
