Angela Fleeger is now a PASTOR! We are so proud to be a part of Angela's journey, and cannot wait to see how the Spirit moves throughout her ministry!
Bishop Tracey Breashears-Shultz have a beautiful message on John 21:
"I asked Angela about what she wanted the congregation to hear at her ordination service. Angela's response was, "Tell them that today is not about me."

In this story, Jesus does what he does for us still, what we cannot do on our own. When we have nothing to show for our answers, Jesus provides an abundance. If that were not wonderful enough, Jesus invites the disciples to bring what fish they caught and make a meal together. Not what Jesus caught, but what the disciples caught. Jesus invites us to bring what we can and participate with him in feeding others. We are stewards of the mysteries of God."

We had the joy and privilege of having Deacon Aimee preach this past Sunday. We looked closely at Matthew 13, and Deacon Aimee shared, "Our baptismal vocation invited us to participate in what God is growing. God baptizes us in the mission of tending." 🌱 How will you join that mission of tending this week?

We may be a small church, but we love doing BIG things for our community! Thanks to the generosity of our congregation, we collected 198 glue sticks, 134 boxes of crayons, 62 boxes of colored pencils, and 3 boxes of markers benefitting ❤️👏 Our prayer is that the students who receive these supplies feel the love of their community and of the God who continues to pour his blessings on us 🙏

Just like that, another year of Lutherhill summer camp complete ✅ Our seven girls had a BLAST, and we are so grateful for our two incredible sponsors for keeping up with them, too! Thank you for an incredible week of faith and fun. These girls came home with some new ways to share the love of Jesus with others 🤍🏕️
