Hey students, grab a friend and come hang out with us Sunday, June 7 from 12:30–2:00 PM in the Youth Area above the MAC for nachos, games, and tons of fun! If you’re in grades 6–12, this is your chance to chill, laugh, and make some great memories together.

Join the Cypress Methodist Women on Wednesday, June 3 at 9:30 AM in MAC 112 for a fun wreath-making workshop. Create a beautiful seasonal wreath while enjoying fellowship and creativity together.

Materials needed:

You will need a wreath form (dollar store) and a variety of Halloween, fall, or Christmas ribbons. We have quite a selection, but if you're looking for a particular color or design, please bring it! You will need at least 3 or 4 ribbons of varying widths (from 1 inch to no wider than 4 inches) in similar or complementary colors and patterns. It takes several small or medium-sized rolls of each kind to complete a wreath. The dollar store often has ribbon (be sure to get enough since their spools tend to be smaller than Hobby Lobby or Michaels), or Goodwill/Resell Shop.

You will also need a package of pipe cleaners in a color that matches your wreath ribbons.

If you have fabric scissors, please bring them too!

The ribbons should be cut into approximately 8-inch lengths, and the pipe cleaners should be halved if you want to get a head start.

TONIGHT is the night! We’ve cleaned out the closets and are excited to share some wonderful treasures with our church family and community. Come enjoy a free spaghetti dinner, meet our new Student Director Nic Sorensen, and browse books, devotionals, T-shirts, and other goodies available to bless local families while supplies last. Last week Chix with Stix had the pleasure of delivering 15 sleeping mats to Cy-Fair Helping Hands . Isn’t it amazing how plastic grocery bags can be repurposed with love to provide comfort for the homeless! Thank you to our church members who donate plastic grocery bags - You truly make a difference, and we couldn’t do it without you!

We were given a tour of this wonderful facility and were able to see the hands and feet of God at work with many, many volunteers. It was a blessing to see His love in action!

Kick off summer with us on Tuesday, June 2 from 6:00–8:00 PM for a fun evening of food, fellowship, and family connection.

Enjoy a free spaghetti dinner, meet our new Student Director, Nic Sorensen, and hear about all the exciting things happening this summer for kids, students, and families.
