Weโ€™re excited to officially welcome Debbie Wilkins and Tom Penn to the Cypress Methodist Church family!

Youโ€™ll find Debbie worshiping with us at our 9:30 AM Contemporary Service. Her husband, Cary, will be serving as an interim pastor at Faith Methodist in Richmond, but he wanted to be here to stand alongside Debbie as she officially joined Cypress.

Tom worships at our 11 AM Traditional Service, and you may already recognize him from C.A.P.S., 50+ gatherings, and many of the events happening around Cypress!

Weโ€™re so glad to have Debbie and Tom officially call Cypress home. Be sure to say hello and give them a warm Cypress welcome when you see them! ๐Ÿ’™

Sometimes worship is simply a choice to seek His presence, even when life is hard. Even in loss. Even when youโ€™re struggling.

โ€œI sought the Lord, and he answered me, and he delivered me from all my fear.โ€ Psalm 34

Four simple practices: Pray. Give Thanks. Read. Live It.

Thatโ€™s it. No perfection, no pressure, and no getting behind. Miss a day? Just start again tomorrow. The goal is simply to keep showing up and see what God does in our hearts and lives along the way.
