This coming weekend we’ll have a second collection for The Clergy Formation Appeal (previously known as the Seminarian collection) provides support for the education of the men who are discerning priesthood and those who are undergoing deacon formation within the Diocese of Des Moines. These men have committed to "Giving Their Lives for Others" so that more people in Southwest Iowa may "Encounter Christ". Thank you for your generous support and your prayers!

A special moment for the Church in our own backyard. 🙏

This Sunday, September 13, the Archdiocese of Omaha, Boys Town, and the Father Flanagan League will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving for Venerable Father Edward J. Flanagan, founder of Boys Town.

Earlier this year, Pope Leo XIV recognized Father Flanagan’s heroic virtue, an important milestone in his cause for sainthood.

Father Flanagan dedicated his life to serving and protecting young people, famously reminding the world of the dignity and potential found in every child. His remarkable legacy continues just across the river at Boys Town.

The Mass begins at 4:30 PM on Sunday, September 13. While attendance at Boys Town is ticketed due to limited seating, everyone is invited to join in prayer through the livestream and broadcast options.
