Journey Church Journey Church is a full Gospel, Bible-based church in Corpus Christi, Texas, founded in 2007 by Pastors Dean and Jane Bearden.

Every Last Wednesday (Monthly) at 7 PM Our church has a mission to see South Texas come to know God, find freedom, find purpose, and make a difference in the community. We gather:

Father, thank You for teaching me. Your Word says that if I ever need wisdom to just ask You, and You'll provide it! You're never far from me, no matter what I feel. I can talk to You just like a friend, and I hope I never take that for granted! I take refuge in Your presence, Lord. You are so good to me, and mighty to save. You are my very present help in time of need.

Heavenly Father, break us free from the strongholds and shame of our past so we can walk in victory through You, Jesus! Let our testimony be the message that will minister and reach others. We know that only the transforming power of the Holy Spirit can make changes that last in us. We open ourselves to You, God to transform us, renew our mind, and restore us. We hold fast to Your promise that the work You have began in us, You will be faithful to complete it.

Señor, en este momento me siento desesperado. Desesperado por Tu toque en mi vida. Padre, me arrepiento por haber hecho las cosas a mi manera. Me he conducido a un pozo del cual no puedo salir. Señor, Te doy gracias; sin importar cuán gravemente falle, Tú sigues buscándome. Sigues deseando tener una relación conmigo. Lucho en mi caminar, Dios, pero sé, Padre, que cada día Tú me fortaleces. Tú levantas mi rostro y me das aliento. Tú, Padre, eres el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida, y así lo he visto en mi propia vida. Mi camino siempre falla; el mundo siempre miente y nunca satisface. Dios, me consagro nuevamente a Ti. Heavenly Father, thank You for allowing me to come to You with all my imperfections. You’ve never asked me to be a perfect person and when I fall short, You’ve never turned me away. You are a loving father who only wants the best for His children. I pray God that if anyone feels too far gone that they’ll just turn to You today, that they’ll fall to their knees and repent of whatever it is they’ve done Jesus, and I pray God that You’ll just meet them where they’re at. God I pray that You’ll bring godly people into their lives that will pray for them and help hold them accountable. Help us be vulnerable with our struggles rather than try to do it all on our own. Thank You Lord for blessing us with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Heavenly Father, Your love is everlasting and can reach into the deepest valley of my life. Open my heart today so I can fully receive Your affection. Quiet my soul, calm my thoughts and remove any fears. Remind me that nothing can separate me from Your care and that My worth is secure in Your eyes. Help me rest peacefully in Your strong embrace.

Heavenly Father, today I come to Your throne of grace to pray for the next generation of young people. Protect those who know You as their Savior from being negatively influenced by the unbiblical worldviews that are prevalent in our schools and colleges today. Also, I pray for young people who have not yet trusted You as their Savior, or who have become disillusioned with life and lost hope in the world. I pray that You reveal Yourself to this generation that has strayed so far from the truth of Your Word. By Your mercy, I ask that You would move this generation to turn back to the God who created them and sent His only begotten Son to die for their sins, that they may come to know You as their personal Savior and be born again. Heavenly Father, give me the strength and wisdom to pass on my faith to another generation and may my life, words and actions, bring You honor and glory.

Welcome to your 2026 Holy Land Adventure VBS—where the Bible comes to life right before your eyes! Kids step back in time at Rome, exploring the life of the apostle Paul and the underground church. Kids and adults participate in a memorable Bible-times marketplace, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig in to Roman eats, visit Paul while he’s under house arrest, and collect Bible Memory Makers to remind them of God’s Word. Each day concludes at Extollo—a time of upbeat worship that gets everyone involved.

For ages 5-12 years old.

Father, I'm not feeling very Holy right now. I'm so grateful that You don't require or even expect me to be perfect - You instead make a way for me to run back to You! Your arms are always open, and I can always climb into Your lap and cry "Daddy!" when I mess up and hurt myself with my foolishness. Thank You for being so merciful! Thank You for Your endless grace and Your fathomless patience with me! Jesus, thank You for taking the burden of my sins onto Yourself so I don't have to suffer for my transgressions! I am so loved by You.
