Tomorrow, we celebrate a significant event known as The Triumphant Entry. This marks the beginning of what Christians refer to as Holy Week. Jesus' entry into Jerusalem on a donkey was a deliberate demonstration to those present then and to us now, showing His humble and gentle nature. He is the Messiah who comes to save. He makes Himself available, accessible, and approachable to each of us. I encourage you to embrace this "hour" of invitation, which will eventually pass—an invitation to come to Him. Your salvation, peace, rest, and joy depend on your response. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow at 10:30am.
It’s going to be a glorious day in God’s powerful presence! See ya there!

Book of the week: Rest & War by Ben Stuart.

This is a field guide🎚️, a book of ancient and pragmatic methods of transformation that has been transposed into a modern key that offers biblical guidance to:
* battle what's holding you back and build what will propel you forward.
* trade patterns of thinking that diminish intimacy with God for ones that encourage it.
* fight sin and cultivate an environment that allows you to flourish
* design your every day schedule based on your God-given purposes.

LIFE IS HARD,😅 but there are promises from God to take hold of. Strategies and tactics to employ. Progress to be made. So flee🏃‍♂️‍➡️ evil and pursue intimacy with your Creator. Uproot what is broken and cultivate what is life giving. Make war on what is destructive and rest in the God who loves you. Are you ready to walk elegantly through the battlefield of life?

But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”

~ Luke 9:62 NIV

When God says do something, do it.

Do it with full confidence and do NOT look back.

In order to follow Jesus and walk into the promises of God, it requires commitment—a commitment similar to a farmer plowing a field.

It is said that a farmer keeps the rows straight by focusing on an object in front and in the distance (such as a tree).

As the tree is to the farmer to keep him straight, so is Jesus to us in our daily walk.

With our eyes consistently focused on Him, we are able to continue to walk upright in His statutes and commands.

Have you ever started something in Christ then lost sight as things progressed? Maybe you became busy, tired, or simply got distracted.

It happens to the best of us.

This is why Jesus used the illustration of plowmen. Plowmen also do something else of great importance; they hold on.

A plowman who lets go is no plowman at all.

The same can be said about our faith...

One who does not believe fully is no believer at all.

If you are facing adversity as you walk in the promises of God, take heart and keep pushing. Don’t look back to your prior situation for comfort or direction.

As good as it may appear, remember you left it in the past for a reason.

God wants to accomplish a new thing in you.

Your commitment and steadfastness are required.

Let's pray...

"Father, thank you for the example you set in Jesus Christ. Through him you showed me what can be accomplished if I yet stay focused on you. As I walk by faith help my sight to be narrow. Through my trials remind me to stay fixated on you Lord. Let every step I take be an ordered step in the direction of getting to know you better. As I plow ahead towards your promises, strengthen my body that I will not grow weary. I pray these things in Jesus name...Amen."

"As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." – Matthew 24:37

First Peter 3 says that as Noah built the ark, Jesus was preaching to a fallen world. What does that mean? Was Jesus physically there? No—but with each hammer blow of Noah and his sons building the ark, God was declaring the gospel that must be believed.

Every time Noah lifted his hammer and struck the nail, the message rang out:

You must flee the destruction that is coming
Your hand is not your redemption—you are not your Redeemer
You must get on this boat if you want to be saved
You must trust in God’s provision, not in your own hand
The people mocked. They believed they were the way out of their own evil. But God provided the only way of escape—and they had to trust Him, not themselves.

It wasn't the last time the hammer would fall. When Christ put His own right hand on the cross, each hammer blow that nailed him there signaled the same gospel: You must flee the destruction to come. Your hand won't save you. You are not your own redeemer. You must trust Christ's hand to provide the way of escape.

Jesus said the days before His return would be like the days of Noah—people eating, drinking, marrying, unaware until judgment comes. Jesus rose from the dead and he is coming again to reap a harvest of those who put hope in His provision, not in the work of their own hands or the safety they think their works will provide..

Respond: Have you gotten on that boat - The Gospel boat of Jesus Christ? Have you trusted in Christ's provision instead of your own hand? If not, today should be the day. If you have trusted in Jesus, who needs to hear this gospel from you?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for being my ark, my refuge, my only hope of salvation. My hand cannot save me—only Your hand can. Thank You for the cross where each hammer blow declared Your love and provision for me. Help me live in light of Your coming return, and give me boldness to point others to You for that same salvation. This I pray in Jesus name, amen.
