SV Temple Schedule update - LUNAR ECLIPSE (March 2-3, 2026)
Dear Devotees,
Due to the Lunar Eclipse on Monday, March 2, 2026, the temple will close early at 7:00 PM following the Holika Dahan Puja and Aarti.

• Closed: Tuesday Morning (March 3)
• Reopens: Tuesday Evening
• Morning closure is for Grahana Shuddhi and deity purification rituals
🕉 Eclipse Timings
Begins: 2:44 AM
Ends: 6:55 AM
✨ Spiritual Guidelines (Sanatan Dharma Tradition)
• Spend the eclipse time in prayer, mantra japa, and meditation — this period is believed to multiply the power of spiritual practices.
• Chant divine names or read from the Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, or Vishnu Sahasranama.
• After the eclipse, take a purifying bath, clean your home altar, and prepare fresh food.
• Traditionally, pregnant women are advised to remain indoors.
🌼 Tuesday Evening Special
Devotees are welcome to visit the temple to receive Grahana Shuddhi blessings and collect Tirtha (holy water) to sanctify their homes.
