Free summer meals are available for Corpus Christi children starting in June.

Several local school districts are serving free breakfasts and lunches this summer for all children ages 1 to 18, as well as eligible Texas public school students with disabilities up to the age of 21. No registration is required.

Corpus Christi Area SitesHigh Schools: Carroll High School: 3202 Saratoga Blvd. (June 2 - July 9, M-Th) | Breakfast: 8:00–8:45 a.m., Lunch: 1:00–1:30 p.m.Coles High School: (Hours vary)Middle & Elementary Schools (CCISD): Various sites (e.g., Cunningham, Driscoll, Hamlin, Kaffie, Lexington Middle Schools; Allen, Barnes, Cullen Place, Hicks, Los Encinos Elementary) operate June 8–July 9, Monday–Thursday, with breakfast usually 7:40–8:15 a.m. and lunch 10:15 a.m.–12:45 p.m.

Corpus Christi Independent School District is running free breakfast and lunch at more than a dozen sites through early July, including several on the Southside.
Flour Bluff Independent School District is also offering free breakfast and lunch on weekdays through July 24.

Greater Shiloh Church extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in our Food Pantry Distribution last Wednesday. We are especially thankful for our dedicated volunteers whose like-minded hearts and willingness to serve reflect the love of Christ in action. Your compassion, kindness, and commitment made a meaningful difference in the lives of many families within our community.

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” — Hebrews 6:10

To all of our recipients, we pray that this blessing serves as a reminder that God sees your needs and cares deeply for you. During challenging times, remember that you are not alone. God often provides through the hands and hearts of others.

“And my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19

We encourage every household to take advantage of available community resources, including food assistance programs, educational support services, employment resources, healthcare assistance, and family support organizations. Seeking help when needed is a step toward strength and stability, and there are caring people and organizations ready to assist.

As a community, let us continue to support one another, share resources, and extend grace to those in need.
