We exist to connect individuals and families in crisis to the physical, financial, social, and spiritual resources needed to alleviate the immediate crisis, as well as partnering with clients and the community to create long-term plans for stability.

Last week, we shared that the need in our community had reached a level unlike anything we had experienced before. Calls were coming in faster than we could answer them. Families were seeking help at a pace that seemed to grow by the day. And yet, in the middle of that need, something beautiful happened.

You responded.

Because of your generosity, donations began arriving at the Ministry Center. Food, hygiene items, clothing, socks, and other essentials started filling our shelves. Volunteers stepped forward. Churches rallied. Individuals gave sacrificially. Businesses partnered with us. Our community reminded us what it looks like to love our neighbors well.

The truth is, every pair of socks that comes through our doors goes right back out to someone who needs them. Every prepared meal serves a hungry neighbor. Every donation becomes hope in tangible form.

The Conway Ministry Center would not exist without the faithfulness of God, the generosity of our donors, and the dedication of our volunteers. Together, you are helping us meet needs, restore dignity, and remind people that they are not alone.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We are humbled to serve alongside a community that continues to show up when it matters most.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Arkansas summers can be relentless.

When temperatures climb into the triple digits and heat indexes soar even higher, many of us have the ability to seek relief in air conditioning, grab a cold drink, or retreat indoors until the hottest part of the day passes. But for many of our neighbors, those options are not always available.

During periods of extreme heat, access to basic necessities can become life-saving. A bottle of water. A meal. A cool place to rest. A safe place to connect with resources and support.

That's why organizations like the Conway Ministry Center are so important. Every day, local nonprofits, churches, volunteers, donors, businesses, and community partners work together to ensure that people have access to food, shelter, case management, cooling spaces, and compassionate support when life becomes overwhelming.

Not everyone is called to do the same thing. Some people give financially. Some volunteer. Some pray. Some advocate. Some simply choose to be aware of the needs around them.

But all of us can do something.

Scripture reminds us:

"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." — 1 John 3:18

As temperatures continue to rise this summer, let's remember that kindness can be life-giving. A meal. A bottle of water. A donation. A conversation. A willingness to see the humanity in someone else's struggle.

When a community comes together, hope becomes easier to find.

Thank you to every church, volunteer, donor, business, and partner who helps make that hope possible every single day.

A huge thank you to our friends at Center Church for making the Conway Ministry Center part of their VBS mission project this year!

The kids got creative with it, too—turning the collection into a friendly boys-versus-girls competition that produced some incredible results. What a fun way to teach the next generation that generosity can make a real difference in the lives of others!

One of the things we admire most about Center Church is their commitment to living a life on mission. They faithfully invest in God’s work around the world, but they also recognize the importance of serving right here at home. By supporting local nonprofits that are meeting tangible needs in our community, they are helping strengthen the very place where their families live, work, worship, and serve.

At the Conway Ministry Center, we believe that living on mission can look a lot of different ways. Sometimes it means traveling across the globe. Sometimes it means serving a neighbor, volunteering your time, or giving resources to help someone through a difficult season. But when the need is right here in our own community, local support becomes especially vital. It allows organizations like ours to continue offering hope, practical assistance, and compassionate care to those who need it most.

Thank you, Center Church, for teaching your children that missions isn’t just something we do somewhere else—it’s a way of life. We are grateful for your partnership and for the impact you’re making both near and far.

The Conway Ministry Center would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our friends at Greenbrier Nazarene Church for choosing us as the recipient of their Vacation Bible School mission project!

One of the most beautiful ways God demonstrates His faithfulness is through His people. Time and time again, we have watched the Church step forward to meet needs, encourage the weary, and remind others that they are not alone.

Scripture tells us, “And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other…” (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Thank you, Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene, for living out this calling. Your generosity is helping us continue to serve families and individuals in our community with compassion, dignity, and hope. We are grateful to be part of a larger body of believers working together to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Your faithfulness is making a difference, and we praise God for the partnership.

Yesterday, we shared about the overwhelming increase in need our team has been experiencing, and today we are overwhelmed in a different way—by the incredible generosity of this community.

In response to our plea for help, so many of you stepped up. Your support has meant more to us now than ever, and it serves as a powerful reminder that when our community sees a need, it responds.

A special shoutout to Woodland Heights Baptist Church for showing up with more than 400 boxes of cereal! What an incredible blessing that will be for the families we serve.

To everyone who has donated, prayed, shared our post, volunteered, or encouraged our staff—thank you. We could never do what we do without your help and support.

We are deeply thankful for this community and the countless people who make it possible for us to continue offering hope, dignity, and practical assistance to our neighbors in need.

Over the past several weeks, the Conway Ministry Center has experienced an unprecedented increase in requests for assistance. In fact, the number of people seeking help has grown by more than 45% week after week, and every ounce of energy our team has is being poured into responding to the needs we see across our community.

We have been humbled to learn that many individuals and organizations are directing people to the Ministry Center when they don’t know where else to send them. While the volume has been overwhelming at times, we consider it an incredible honor to be trusted in this way. We are grateful that our community sees us as a place of hope when life becomes difficult.

Because we are committed to being good stewards of every dollar, donation, and resource entrusted to us, our case managers are working long hours to serve as many people as possible. To better respond, we have also expanded our phone system so that calls now ring directly to all staff members, not just our main office line.

To those who have reached out and are waiting for a return call, please know that we see you. We understand the urgency behind many of these requests, and we are doing everything we can to respond thoughtfully, compassionately, and responsibly. We simply ask for your patience and grace as we navigate a season where the need is great.

In moments like these, we are reminded of Jesus’ words in Matthew 9:36, that He looked upon the crowds and had compassion on them because they were weary and scattered. That same compassion continues to guide our work today. While we may not always have every answer, we will continue striving to offer hope, dignity, and practical help to those who walk through our doors.

Thank you for believing in this mission, praying for our staff, and standing with us as we serve our neighbors.

This verse captures so much of what we strive for at Conway Ministry Center.

Every day, volunteers, staff, donors, churches, community partners, and supporters from all walks of life come together around a shared mission: caring for our neighbors. Whether it's helping someone stay housed, providing groceries, serving a meal, offering medical care, or simply taking time to listen, each person plays a part in helping carry the burdens of others.

We're grateful for everyone who chooses to serve, give, and care. Together, we're living out the call of Christ right here in Conway.

This Is Why Case Management Matters

Recently, we met an elderly woman who is disabled, battling cancer, and facing eviction from her home.

Like many of the people who come to Conway Ministry Center, her situation was complicated. There wasn't a simple solution or a single need to address. She needed someone to listen, understand her circumstances, and help her navigate a crisis that felt impossible to face alone.

That's the heart of our Case Management program.

Every day, our team sits down with individuals and families who are carrying burdens that most people never see. We hear their stories, help identify their most urgent needs, and work alongside them to find a path forward. Sometimes that means connecting someone to resources. Sometimes it means helping prevent homelessness. Sometimes it simply means making sure a neighbor knows they are seen and cared for.

For this woman, it meant helping her remain in her home during one of the most difficult seasons of her life.

Stories like hers are only possible because of people who choose to support this ministry. When you give to Conway Ministry Center, you're doing far more than funding a program. You're helping us sit across the table from someone in crisis and offer practical help, compassionate care, and hope.

You're helping us meet people where they are, just as Christ has called us to do.

And through that partnership, lives are being changed every day—one story, one family, and one neighbor at a time.
