Busy for Jesus, but distant from Jesus?

It’s possible to have a calendar full of ministry and a heart that’s running on empty.

We can become so consumed with serving Christ that we neglect communion with Christ.

In Luke 10:38–42, Martha was busy serving, but Mary understood something essential: there is no greater privilege than sitting at the feet of Jesus.

The problem isn’t serving too much. It’s forgetting that our service must flow from our fellowship with Him.

Don’t confuse spiritual activity with spiritual maturity.

A busy Christian isn’t necessarily a growing Christian.

Serve faithfully. Labor diligently. Love the church wholeheartedly.

But never allow the work you do for Jesus to replace the joy of knowing Jesus.

The Lord of the work must always be greater than the work of the Lord.

In Luke 19, Jesus told a parable that challenges us to consider what real power looks like and what it might cost to stand against injustice.

Following Jesus isn't always comfortable. Sometimes doing what is right comes at a cost.

**Are we willing to stand for His kingdom, regardless of that cost?**
