Will you join us in praying for biological families today?

Many parents are working hard to overcome significant challenges and create a safe, stable future for themselves and their children. Some are carrying wounds from difficult experiences in their own childhoods and need support, encouragement, and hope along the way.

Today, take a moment to pray for these moms and dads. Pray for strength, perseverance, healing, and the determination to keep moving forward as they work toward reunification with their children. And pray that they and their children would encounter the love of Jesus again and again through the people walking alongside them on the journey toward reunification.

We’re building something meaningful—and we’re looking for the right kind of people to help lead the way.

As we step into a capital campaign season, we’re prayerfully forming a committee of individuals who…

• Love bringing people together and naturally create welcoming, well-organized spaces
• Are both visionary and practical—able to see what could be and help make it happen
• Have a presence that draws others in—natural leaders with strong relationships and connections
• Live generously and influence others who value giving back
• Aren’t ready to just watch—but will roll up their sleeves and move something forward
• Care deeply about children and families in our community, believe in the mission of The CALL, and value seeing many churches represented in this work

Maybe this sounds like you.
Or maybe someone just came to mind as you read this.

If so, we’d love to start a conversation. Send us a message or reach out directly—we’d be grateful to connect.

Let’s build something that matters, together.

What does reunification look like?

1️⃣ 𝗔 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲.
Children may enter foster care for a variety of reasons, including abuse, neglect, abandonment, or parental incapacity. During this time, they are placed with relatives or foster families who can provide a safe and stable home.

2️⃣ 𝗔 𝗿𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗱.
Reunification is the primary goal of nearly every foster care case. The court establishes a plan and timeline based on the unique needs of the child and family.

3️⃣ 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻.
Parents are given specific steps to complete and services to support their progress. Caseworkers help guide the process and provide updates and recommendations to the court along the way.

4️⃣ 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱.
As progress is made, visits often increase in frequency and duration. When it is safe and appropriate, the court develops a transition plan, and the children return home.

While every case is different, the hope is always that families can heal, grow, and be reunited safely.

Did you know that reunification is the goal of foster care?

At The CALL, we believe God designed families to stay together, and we know that strong support systems help make that possible. That's why we partner with DCFS to support reunification when it is safe and appropriate and work to empower our foster families in this mission every step of the way.

This Foster Care Awareness Month, we are overwhelmed with gratitude.

To every church who hosted a drive, prayed for children and families, collected supplies, provided meals, volunteered, supported foster parents, or simply helped people see the realities of foster care more clearly — thank you.

To every individual who donated, showed up, shared posts, encouraged families, served children, or answered God’s call to care for vulnerable kids in our community — thank you.

Month after month, year after year, we continue to witness something beautiful: God’s people showing up for children and families in crisis. We truly could not do this work without this incredible community surrounding us.

And today, we are excited (and honestly a little emotional) to share some BIG news…

After much prayer, research, conversations, and careful consideration of every financial angle, our leadership team has made the decision to move forward with clearing our current property and building a brand new support center in its place.

We did not make this decision lightly. We carefully weighed renovation costs, long-term maintenance concerns, accessibility needs, and the growing needs of the families we serve. In the end, we believe building new will be the most financially responsible and sustainable option for the future of this ministry and the children we serve.

This new space will allow us to better support foster, adoptive, kinship, and biological families for years to come.

But we also know we cannot do this alone.

The current property at 745 Factory Street I Conway has ready been gifted to us. Over the next season, we are going to need:
• A fundraising team to help us raise $1million, debt-free because we deeply believe God will provide through His people.
• Skilled workers and businesses willing to donate time, labor, materials, or services.
• Churches willing to partner with us by hosting visits and ministry activities during the 9–12 month construction process.
• Additional volunteer leadership team members willing to help us carry out this mission moving forward.

This project feels big — because it is. But our God is bigger. Serving children and families in foster care has always required a community saying “yes” together and meeting God where He is already at work.

Would you pray with us?
Would you partner with us?
Would you help us build something that will impact children and families for generations to come?

We cannot wait to share more details soon. Thank you for believing in this mission and for helping bring hope to children and families affected by foster care. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the women of Delta Beta Sigma Sorority and their amazing generosity through their diapers and wipes drive! 💙🧷

Their donation was so abundant that we literally had to reorganize parts of the CALL Mall to make room for everything they collected — what an incredible blessing for local children and families affected by foster care.

Diapers and wipes may seem simple, but they meet real, everyday needs for foster families welcoming children into their homes, often with little notice. Because of this sorority’s compassion and hard work, our shelves are fuller, and more families will feel supported during critical moments.

Thank you, Delta Beta Sigma, for showing up in such a tangible and meaningful way for our community. Your kindness is making a difference for children right here in Arkansas. ✨

"We had a mission fair at our church, where we hosted a booth for The CALL. After the event, as we were packing everything back into the car, a college-aged young man came up to me and said he wanted to thank me. I asked, 'For what?'

He told me that when he was 15 or 16, he entered foster care. It turns out, we had given him clothes, something he desperately needed then. I teared up and hugged him. I asked what he was doing now, and he told me he was living with his foster parents and going to college. We told him how proud we were of him and encouraged him to finish school.

After years of volunteering, I can't remember what we gave him. But he does. That action clearly meant so much to him, then and now. It truly touched my heart."

Every support system matters.

Every training matters.
Every shared journey matters.
Every moment of care matters.

"When we adopted our children, we didn’t have a true support base. We were blessed with a loving family, a supportive church, and counselors who helped us in immeasurable ways, but we lacked support from those who truly understood adoption and the unique challenges of children coming from foster care—the kind of 'home base' support that makes all the difference.

Finding The CALL changed that. We were completely humbled by the depth of care, encouragement, and training we received, even without having a placement. We are deeply grateful for the constant love and support The CALL has poured into our family, and we are truly honored to be part of The CALL family."

Sometimes the sweetest signs of hope are the things left behind after a family visit. 💙

Today it was sidewalk chalk masterpieces, tiny toy cars scattered across the pavement, and evidence of laughter shared between children and the people who love them most. To some, it may look like a mess. To us, it looks like connection, joy, and the possibility of healing.

Every healthy visit matters. Every shared laugh, game, drawing, and memory being rebuilt matters. We believe in supporting children while also cheering for restoration, growth, and hope within biological families whenever possible.

These little after-visit treasures remind us that love is still present — and healing can happen one moment at a time. ✨
