September's meeting was a date night for our couples. We had 7 couples total. We were so excited to have two new couples join us. Crazy Hibachi was filled with humor that night. I think there sushi chef was wore completely out and struggling. We had several couples whose patience was tested and they still shined brightly. October 1st is our 6th and final session of Marriage Built to Last.join us at 6 pm.

This Sunday is the last Sunday we will be allowing new students into our pilot Students Regen small groups. Our students will graduate in December so they have to spend the next 11 weeks committed if they choose to join. All other teens joining us after this Sunday can come for dinner and praise which will be 5:30-7.

Teens Connected starts an optional 12 week study on Sunday September 11th. It is a condensed discipleship/12 step program geared toward 6th through12th grade students. If you are member or considering becoming a member of Couples Connected through Christ and you have a student dealing with depression, anxiety, fear, confusion, anger, peer pressure, friendship or relationship jumping or other common issues or just a student ready to dig deeper into a relationship with Christ, call to talk to us about registration. This is an intense commitment but very worthwhile.

September's meeting has been moved from September 3 (Labor Day weekend) to September 17th. The location will be announced closer to the date since we are gathering for a night out instead of session 6 of Marriage Built to Last. Text 5015147417 to receive details by text.

What is Couples Connected Through Christ? The answer to this question is ever-changing. I thought I knew what God's goals and plans were when we stepped out in faith with this group. Here we are 2 years later and God is still gently redirecting our steps and growing our members. We are comprised of members from multiple churches and denominations. We are family. We are connected. We are excited at each success and sorrowful with failures and losses. We are prayer warriors and accountability partners.. We are adding a discipleship study for our family's teens and growing our children's worship plan. We never fight a battle alone. We band together in prayer. We learn together. God has taught us how powerful marriages can be when couples connect and pray and work together. It doesn't matter if you are an addict in recovery trying to get your marriage back on track or a couple who is just trying to communicate better, you will be accepted, loved and prayed for. The group was originally founded to help families coming out of addiction from faith based recovery programs learn to cope, connect and communicate but God has changed it into so much more.

We are researching different studies to add to our marriage lessons. We try to provide all books and supplies needed as well as offering a large variety of Christian self help books in our ministry library. We are also preparing to test a pilot program for our teens. We hope to provide healing and lessons on communication and building strong foundations built on God's Word. We are in need of supplies, a printer, curriculum and other items. If you would like to help out please contact me.

Good morning. Last night's meeting was fantastic. 4 couples went over session 5 of Marriage Built to Last. We talked about the importance of intimacy in marriage. Next month we will finishing up this video series and celebrating our 2nd anniversary as a group. If you would like to meet sometime this month to watch and discuss the previous sessions, call me or Bobby to set up a date and time. I have loved this series.
