We are so proud to celebrate one of our own! Congratulations to the Rev. Andy Jones, an ordained deacon in the South Carolina Conference, on receiving the BEE Award for his exceptional service as a chaplain at Bon Secours St. Francis Downtown in Greenville.

Andy’s compassionate heart and dedication to whole-person care—demonstrated here in such a beautiful, extraordinary way—reflect the very heart of deacon ministry. On behalf of the South Carolina Annual Conference, congratulations, Chaplain Andy, and thank you for being a living example of Christ's love and grace in action!

October is Clergy Appreciation Month!

On behalf of The South Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our dedicated clergy members across the state. Thank you for your tireless leadership, spiritual guidance, selfless service, and unwavering devotion to our communities and congregations.

We encourage everyone to take a moment this month to reach out to your pastors, pray for them, and show them just how much their ministry means to you and your family. A simple note of encouragement or a word of thanks goes a very long way!

Do you have a pastor you love and appreciate? Drop a message or give them a shoutout in the comments below to show them some love!
