An Invitation to Prayer for Koinonia of Columbia, Inc and Eau Claire Baptist Church
The Isaiah Project: June 9-15, 2026
South Main Baptist, Houston ---Koinonia of Columbia --- Eau Claire Baptist
“The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your needs in parched places and make your bones strong, and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water whose waters never fail.” – Isaiah 58:11 (Eau Claire, which is French for “clear water” most probably was named for a spring located about where Johnson Avenue & Main Street intersect today.)
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.” – I Corinthians 3:6
“God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.”– Matthew 5:6
Koinonia Of Columbia envisions a diverse network of compassionate people who are anchored deep like a tree at a riverside in the belief that every individual can know and celebrate their God-given skills and talents. When we fly in formation together and when we live and work together for the common good, all may know community … KOINONIA!
Sunday, June 7
Today, we pray for the few Texas mission team leaders who are traveling and arriving a day early to begin making preparations for the week. Lord, we thank you for the vision of South Main Baptist! Thank you for directing their path toward Koinonia of Columbia! We are reminded of your abundance, God, through the outpouring of blessings we are receiving from South Main Baptist! We open our hands and hearts to be good stewards of the GIFTS poured through us….. for our neighbors.
Help us, Lord, to “fly in formation together, working together for the common good!” May our work together turn into fresh vegetables and fruit for our neighbors for this summer and beyond! We lift prayers for our Eau Claire neighbors and for our Board Chair who is also the elected president of the Belmont community, Mr. Richard Hammond
