Please join me in prayer for the Easter family. Clayton was a tremendous advocate and prayer warrior for the Men in Ministry movement of South Carolina.

Clayton Lee Easter, 83, husband of Evelyn Easter, of Simpsonville, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021.  Born in Aberdeen, MS, he was the son of the late Claudie Clayton Easter, Sr. and the late Mattie Lee Bagwell Easter.  Clayton retired from the Army and Air Force Exchange

The Men’s Ministry leadership team is in need of prayer. With all the issues and turmoil happening today we are hard at work planning for our conference in February 2021. This is always an exercise in patience and balance. Calming ourselves enough to listen to and for Gods word to speak to us on what would be the next great topic or theme is challenging for men. Time rolls on and know we’re hard and work on a great program no matter what form or topic that it takes.

I’m getting more excited about the Men’N Ministry conference on 3/29. What I’m probably equally excited about is I get the pleasure of visiting one of the best pastors I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing, Rev Mack McClam the following day. I heard him at this conference when it was at Springmaid in Myrtle Beach years ago and have kept up with and heard him several times over the years. At these events you not only fill your spirit for the day but friendships and people you get to know will last a lifetime.

Calling on men in SC around the Greenville area during annual conference. We're in need of parking lot attendants. This is one of the first faces people will see during Annual Conference when delegates make the trip up for the last time before going back to Florence. We need help in making sure people get where they need to go as quickly and efficiently as possible. If you think you can help please reach out. You can reach me at [email protected] and I'll put you on the list. We can use people from 2 hours to all day (which I don't recommend) or anytime in between.

Hope everyone is doing well after Mother’s Day celebrations. School year is winding down, summer breaks winding up, and Annual Conference just around the corner. Remember to stop and give thanks for all God has blessed you with. Take stock of all the little things that may seem insignificant but play an important role. Thank someone this week whom you may have had cross interactions with. We all can have a positive influence, just starts with making your heart right.
