Delphine Manley has been providing daily updates on Stephen's condition, his progress in rehab, and reflections on their spiritual journey and community. Here's a summary of the recent reports:

Recent Updates on Stephen's Progress:
Improvement in Therapy: Stephen continues to make steady progress in rehab. He is working with therapists to regain strength in his legs and improve mobility, though he still experiences fatigue. Recently, he managed to stand using the strength of his legs, giving him hope about his recovery. He’s also working with a brace to help his left leg, despite it feeling heavy.

Support and Encouragement: Stephen remains motivated, even when therapy is challenging. He’s in good spirits and excited to see improvements. Delphine remains a constant source of encouragement, reflecting on Stephen's determination and progress.

Medication Adjustments: There was a positive turning point when doctors identified and corrected a medication mishap. This brought about a significant improvement in Stephen’s cognitive abilities, allowing him to feel more like himself.

Continued Rehab: Stephen’s rehab team, along with Dr. McDuffey, decided to extend his rehab through September 14 due to his excellent progress. The family has also started preparing their home for his eventual return, including modifying the shower for easier access.

Spiritual Reflections and Community Support:
Cross Style Life Recovery Ministry: Delphine frequently shares updates about the Cross Style Life Recovery Ministry, highlighting how individuals in the program have experienced life-changing transformations. She expressed admiration for the generosity of people in recovery, sharing how they raised funds to help families in need at Christmas and contributed to the church’s new roof, despite their own financial challenges.

Gratitude for God's Blessings: Delphine's updates are filled with gratitude for the love and support they’ve received from their community and church family. She reflects on how God continues to bless them, providing strength through the challenges.

Personal Reflections: Delphine also shares her own emotions, from exhaustion to relief, as she continues to care for Stephen while relying on the grace and mercy of Jesus. She feels supported by their community and reassured by Stephen’s growing independence and recovery.

Looking Ahead:
Family Meeting: The rehab team recently met with Stephen’s family to evaluate his progress and discuss the next steps, including preparations for his return home after rehab.
Delphine and Stephen remain hopeful, trusting in God's plan, and are thankful for the continued prayers and support from their community.
