IN {CHRIST} THE WHOLE STRUCTURE IS JOINED TOGETHER AND GROWS\

If we say the word foundation around our household we are usually talking about crumbling bricks. The women often think of foundation being make up to their face. The same applies to either concept-- a foundation being a base layer.

As we know the early church fought over divisions the Gentiles and the Jews. They saw Jesus as the answer to bring both groups together .We don't have the same arguments today, but the message is still relevant. Regardless of the current situation, God brings people together in and through the love of Jesus. Jesus was never meant to cause divisions !!! We need to start today by asking ourselves how can God build a firm foundation in Jesus through us? God always builds and starts somewhere.

JESUS IS THE FOUNDATION .

"YOU BUILD IN OUR WORLD CONTINUALLY , GOD. TURN OUR LIVES TO BUILD ON JESUS' FOUNDATIN ." AMEN

"MAY HE GRANT YOUR HEART'S DESRE, AND FULFILL ALL YOUR PLANS."

In psalm 20 there is a prayer for the king, before battle. What does this prayer mean to us? Although it is in an earlier time, there is a hidden jewel among the verses. The jewel is that the humans have not changed. Praying for the best for ourselves is human nature. We hope for good health for our children and the ones we love. We want the best for our friends and ask for their safety. We ask for world peace. The psalmist prayed for the king to win his battle. on other days he would pray for family and friends.

Today our prayers often include political concerns , social change , and personal health . The jewel hidden in this psalm is the human need to ask for help in times of trouble. We pray when we need help, whether facing an enemy or cancer. But I know that whatever the prayers of my heart, God is faithful. We trust not in weapons of might ----nor either in the perfection of our prayers. RATHER WE TRUST IN GOD.

"TRUSTING GOD, HEAR THE CRIES OF OUR HEART. " AMEN

JESUS SAID) "WHOEVER DOES THE WILL OF GOD IS MY BROTHER AND SISTER AND MOTHER."

The isolation during the Covid-19 virus has taken the toll on many of us in many ways, Physically being shut off from friends and family and social and religious groups.

There have been so many lives lost due to the pandemic we are scared to be out with crowds and meetings of any kind. We were faced with having to decide whether or not to take the vaccine and the after effects that may happen because of the vaccine.

Is the pandemic God's way of telling us to get right with the Lord? i definitely think it is. We are witnessing riots street gang killings drive by shootings and domestic violence in the homes. We tend to stray away from the bible and church which is very upsetting to many.

We are losing friends and family members to cancer, heart attacks and complications from surgeries and other problems. All the more reason that we need to bring God back into our lives .

Without Our Lord and Savior we are lost sheep from His flock.

We need to continue to pray for our fellow man and ask God to help us,

" OH GOD, IN TIMES OF HARDSHIP, HELP US REACH OUT TO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST." AMEN

JESUS SAID, "DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED,AND DO NOT LET THEM BE AFRAID."

During these trying times with the corona virus we have to ask God to help us and pray:

"KEEP WATCH, DEAR LORD, WITH THOSE WHO WORK OR WATCH OR WEEP, AND GIVE YOUR ANGELS CHARGE OVER THOSE WHO SLEEP. TEND THE SICK, GIVE REST TO WEARY, BLESS THE DYING, SOOTH THE SUFFERING, COMFORT THE AFFLICTED, SHIELD THE JOYOUS; AND ALL FOR YOUR LOVE'S SAKE." AMEN

" WHILE HE WAS BLESSING THEM, HE WITHDREW FROM THEM AND WAS CARRIED UP INTO HEAVEN "

In Luke 24 we have read about the risen Christ surprised the disciples, who thought his ministry had ended. He made it very clear that God's work here on earth was still taking place. Repentance and forgiveness of sins could be proclaimed. The power from above had had filled them.

In Acts 1:11 after Jesus had gone to heaven, the heavenly messengers asked, "Why do stand looking up to heaven.?" We may have been so preoccupied with heaven that we may had forgotten to invest in the mission that God has called us to now. An old saying goes: "You're so heavenly minded you're no earthly good."

Where are we looking today? We are focused on the corona virus that we are worrying about ourselves and mankind . We are all focused on this terrible pandemic we are looking up to heaven, praying for an end. Or are we focused on God's works around us on earth? On the day that Jesus ascended is our attention divided? We look up into the sky, waiting for a word Jesus \. And we look around at each other , feet firmly planted here on earth. Jesus has blessed us and called us to have faith in His important works of faith, hope and love.

We pray for the sick that they may be healed.

" HEAVENLY FATHER, KEEP OUR EYES OPEN AND DIRECT US TO THE NEEDS AROUND US ON EARTH," AMEN

"CHRIST HAS RISEN; HE HAS RISEN INDEED"
As Mary and Peter and Joseph approached the tomb they found that the stone had been rolled away and was empty. Jesus had risen from the dead and ascended on the right hand of the Father.

Jesus had over come death and has assured us eternal life and our sins have been forgiven. Because He died for us we shall live.

It has been so hard for us not to be able to celebrate Easter this year in our traditional way because of this terrible virus.

We pray for our doctors and nurses and those in the laboratories trying to find a cure.

God is in control my friends and we should keep our faith.

Alleluia Christ has risen from the dead!!!

"OH GOD, WHERE HEARTS ARE FEARFUL AND CONSTRICTED, GRANT COURAGE AND HOPE. WHERE ANXIETY IS INFECTIOUS AND WIDENING , GRANT PEACE AND REASSURANCE. WHERE DISTRUSTS TWISTS OUR THINKING, GRANT HEALING AND ILLUMINATION. WHERE IMPOSSIBILITIES CLOSE EVERY DOOR AND WINDOW , GRANT IMAGINATION AND RESISTANCE. WHERE SPIRITS ARE DAUNTED AND WEAKENED, GRANT SOARING WINGS AND STRENGTHENED DREAMS. ALL THESE THINGS WE ASK IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST , OUR SAVIOR AND LORD." AMEN

"WAIT FOR THE LORD; BE STRONG, AND LET YOUR HEART TAKE COURAGE; WAIT FOR THE LORD"

We often get frustrated waiting in traffic, waiting in line at the DMV or waiting in line at the grocery store or waiting our turn at the doctors office, we get frustrated. Times we have to wait are times of an opportunity to slow down, take a , deep breath, an reconnect with God.This can refresh, renew and teach us.

In psalm 27 we learn that David was anointed King as a teenager but did not become King until years later. We can only imagine the emotions he experienced during his time of waiting ! We need to use our times of waiting as times to reflect on God and reflect in Him.

"God of patience, please share your patience with us so we will be patient others". Amen

Praying for all who need his healing hands!

"I WILL STUDY THE WAY THAT IS BLAMELESS"

When we were children we would study the ways of our parents. It wasn't always a deep thought process, but our minds recorded the way they entered a room, the way they struck up a conversation with strangers in the grocery line. We were learning from them not just how they acted but how we, too, should act.

Even though we are now adults. this process of studying others never stopped. At work we learn how good leaders manage meetings. At home we learn how good friends care for others. And as Christians we are called to study and imitate the greatest role model of all, Jesus. We read in our bible how Jesus led the disciples, built relationships with others , stood up for what was right, and so much more. But our learning from Jesus does not stop from just observing ancient stories. We are to imitate what we learn. We need to take some time today to study our role model,Jesus.
Jesus' way is a clear and blameless path for us to follow.

WE PRAYER FOR THOSE WHO HAVE RECENTLY LOST LOVED ONES, THE SICK POOR AND NEEDY, KNOWING THAT GOD WILL LOOK OVER US ALL.

"GREAT ROLE MODEL, HELP US TO OBSERVE AND IMITATE YOU." AMEN

PETER SAID, "LORD, ARE YOU TELLING THIS PARABLE FOR US OR FOR EVERYONE?"

I wonder how much anguish Jesus felt over his desire to make us understand both the depth of God's love and the importance of being accountable. We often want to separate the two-we are tempted to hope that God loves us , He won't hold us accountable for our failures of obedience We want the good news and the law of God to be set apart from each other, and for God's words of judgment to apply to someone else. Do we trust grace and stop worrying about our sin altogether. Or do we obsess on our unworthiness and distrust God's grace?

I wonder, with all the shame and disgrace going on in this world today what God thinks. Does he really approve of women living with and marrying women and men living with and marrying men. Teaching our children that this is acceptable in society today. I personally can not accept this in the world today. The bible does not make reference any of this.

God does love all His children and gives them the bible to live by, but I feel many have gone astray and I ask god to help us all.

Please keep all those who have recently lost loved ones and are suffering from health issues that God will bless them and help them.

"LORD JESUS, RELEASE US FROM OURSELVES, AND FREE US TO LIVE FOR YOU TODAY". AMEN
