We’ve all heard stories of hero animals who have rescued people from danger, or of beloved pets who have left a significant impact on someone’s life. Some animals are specifically trained to aid, heal or provide comfort and companionship as we face life’s challenges.

Throughout the Bible, “ministry” is simply defined as meeting a need. Perhaps some of the most powerful examples of selfless, intentional care don’t come from the pulpit but from animals.

Pacific Press Publishing Association is partnering with the North American Division (NAD) of Seventh-day Adventists in "All Things New," a yearlong initiative leading to the September 2027 global movement OneVoice27, backed by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

As part of this yearlong emphasis, Pacific Press will produce a special sharing book featuring nine chapters from Ellen G. White’s The Desire of Ages. The North American Division hopes to distribute 5 million copies throughout its territory, giving Seventh-day Adventists opportunities to share the story of Jesus with friends, neighbors, coworkers and community members.

Through EITC, individuals and businesses can redirect a portion of their Pennsylvania state taxes to support student scholarships. Instead of sending those dollars to the state, you can invest them directly in Seventh-day Adventist education. Donors receive up to a 90% state tax credit, meaning your gift only “costs” about 10% of the amount you give. It’s one of the most impactful and cost-effective ways to support Christian education.
