There is power in praying together. 🤝🏾🙏
Before the worship service begins, before a single song is sung, before the first word is preached, God's people gather in prayer.

These moments remind us that the Church is more than a building—it is a community united by faith, hope, and a shared belief that God hears every prayer.
When we join hands, we carry one another's burdens, celebrate one another's victories, and invite the presence of God into everything we do.

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." — Matthew 18:20

Juneteenth marks the day when the last enslaved African Americans learned of their freedom—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It is a reminder that freedom is precious, truth matters, and hope endures.
As people of faith, we celebrate not only historical freedom but also the freedom found in Christ. We give thanks for those who came before us, whose courage, perseverance, and unwavering faith paved the way for future generations.

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." — John 8:36
May we continue the work of building beloved community, pursuing justice, and sharing God's love with all people.
