Our youth have been busy! We collected money during VBS for our local food pantry. A generous donor matched it! So we shopped and shopped and shopped last night and made our delivery to the Blackford Breckinridge Baptist Association so pantry bags can be made for distribution next month!
Job well done and a lot of laughs along the way!

We had an absolute blast at VBS this week! The kids were great and lively! The youth were hands-on and helped with every request.
Mozart the sheep that kept getting lost even sang the Psalm 23 song. We even had a surprise animal mascot show up Thursday!

Pizza, pasta, cookies, fruit, chips, cookies, capri suns and did I say cookies? Bottomless pits and it was wonderful!

We raised $115 for the food pantry! And for the first time in a long time the boys raised more money than the girls. Kaccie volunteered to take the ice water dump and I think that cold water felt pretty good after the warm temps this week.

Donovan and Abigail won the bikes!

So many hands went into the preparation and ex*****on of VBS. Registration, audio, kitchen, van drivers, line leaders, teachers, decorations, planning, teaching and lots of lifting and putting things back to order after it was over. I won’t mention any names for fear of accidentally leaving someone out.

Prayers have been asked and answered many times this week! And a large lesson about having faith for this director.

CBC has enjoyed having your kids and youth in attendance and we hope to see them more often. A special song is planned during this Sunday’s worship service from all the youth and kids in attendance. We hope you can join us to see just what all the excitement is about and watch your kiddos perform.
