Today the USA recognizes the men and women who gave their lives over the 250 years so we may live free.

But unless you have accepted Jesus you are not truly free.

In December we are all about Christmas, celebrating the Virgin Birth of Jesus.

Skip over the middle go straight to the Cross and His Death there. Then the burial, and His Resurrection. We call it Easter.

We forget the 40 days He was on earth walking and talking and being among the people, then
He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

Just one part or even two parts are not enough to save us. It is the totality of it that provides for our salvation.

Do not focus on one part part on it all.

So tell me, when is the last time you shared a positive true story of Jesus and His immense Love for people? ALL people, not just a few but all, from the gutter to the White House and beyond.

We live in a busy stress filled world. A world that barely gives us time to breath much less be still.

Challenge of the day, everyday. Find in your time, push something aside, lay it down, move it over, shut it out.
Then take that time, and simply be still. Sit still,no music, no TV, no social media just you and think on God the Father.

Yes it will all push in, trying to grab your mind but push back. Simply allow your mind to become silent.

As the world slides out, you will become aware that the Father is there. He is always there
As the anxiety leaves the peace you are seeking will be present, it is always there.

Like Christmas, when all the crinkly paper is gathered and stuffed into the trash, the gifts are left. They are visible to you.

Grab the love, peace, comfort and joy and hold onto it.

Tody is December 15 2025.

Since before Halloween even Christmas made an appearance.

Holiday music began popping up on the radio after Halloween. Seasonal aisles filled with Christmas merchandise. People began making noises about what they would be doing.

Thanksgiving rolled in with little fanfare. Yes, it was noticed, barely.

December 1, full on Holiday music on Christian radio. Talk of traditions. Etc. If you listened to the chatter, you heard very little about the Birth of Christmas.

This weekend I turned my radio back on. Holiday music filled the air, I did hear some songs about the Birth. Decorations are everywhere, people are saying Happy Holidays and moving on.

So ask yourself this...
What is Christmas to me?
Is it a commercial celebration of a family time or is it a remembrance of the Birth of a baby, who came to bring so much to the World?
Or have you combined the 2 keeping Jesus as the center piece?

Choose you this day whom you will serve. As for my house, I will serve the Lord.

While enjoying these days set aside for the Holidays show your love of family by telling them of a love so great He gave us his Son. Who would then give His life for us.

For the record..

God the Father does NOT send people to hell. He gave His Son to die on the cross so we could be reconciled, reunited with Him.

We have a choice, we can accept Jesus as Son of God, and accept the Grace, forgiveness and love that comes with that or
We can refuse Him and make the choice to stroll into hell.

AGAIN? You scream. Your good friend has canceled on you. I don't understand you yell.

Well guess what honey, neither does she. She just doesn't have the energy. Her body is filled with pain and it is draining everything from her.

Doctor after doctor, test after test, medication after medication and while decreased some, it continues on.

Her body is weary, her mind is foggy, she is still in pain, and there are no answers.

Behavior modification was recommended, so she agreed. While this was not new, she listened. Then one day a question was asked. What is your pain level today.
Laughing she replied your level or mine?
After some discussion the therapist added, what we crave the most is usually what is causing the problems.

Wheat of any kind was eliminated. An appointment with an allergist specialist was made.

Finally after 2 years a diagnosis was made.
Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and Sjogren's disease.

This is actually a very condensed version of my life for 3 years.

I clung to Jesus throughout this sea crossing, through the storms, the wind, the waves He held me. He was and is my strength.

So there are 2 messages here, first cut your friend some slack, extend grace. They may be in the storm. Second hang in there, the storm will pass, you will make it out if you cling to Jesus all the time

GBMC is a faith based church ministry. That means we do not require funds to speak, pray or mentor.

It also means we have no funds to send to others. We can't give what we don't have.

We will join with you to pray the Father provides provisions as He see fit.

May the Lord open up the Heavens and pour out His blessings and provisions.

God the Father speaks to you in a manner that requires you to be paying attention. Are you listening for His voice or are you trying to cover it with your own?
