Prude and Dorothy L. Prude on June 29, 1980, in Cleveland Ohio, at Mt Sinai Hospital. I came to know the Lord personally at the age of sixteen when my parents divorced. I actually became my mother’s pastor! Ask me about it! At one point, I was part of a Christian group called WAR, which stood for excellence, peace, and strength through Jesus Christ. I can’t remember the African Swahili words used
to describe the ministry, but we would go around the city of Cleveland, Ohio giving our testimonies. In my freshman year of high school, I joined the wrestling team. I eventually became the captain of the team during my senior year. In that same year, one of my best friends, Luvirt Parker, and I started a bible study at his mother’s house along with our friend Eddie. Luvirt was on the team for a short period of time and often jokes saying the only reason he joined the team was to meet me! We would be at his house every Friday night and watch videos of popular preachers like T.D Jakes, Tony Evans, and Charles Stanley to name a few. Of course, we would examine and expound on every message that we heard. Much to our surprise and delight, our Friday night video events grew into a full-fledged bible study! On any given Friday night, there would be at least 15 guys in attendance! This bible study continued for about two years. Then in the year 2000, we started a street ministry called “Reasonable Service Ministries”. We would go out into the streets witnessing to people in various places like malls, barbershops, and high school football games. This ministry lasted for about two years. While I attended Cuyahoga Community College, I started a Bible Study class there. Are you recognizing a theme here? I joined the United States Airforce in January of 2002, at the age of 21. During my 20-year career, I was stationed all over the United States and the world including New Mexico, Louisiana, Germany, and Korea. I was deployed to various countries, as well including Pakistan, Iraq, Qatar, and Kyrgyzstan. I conducted bible studies in most of these countries and was a part of the chapel ministry team. I was also given the opportunity to minister in some of these locations. I am very proud to say that after 20 years of service, I retired from the United States Airforce with honors. I published my first book in 2021 entitled “The Higher You” which you can find on Amazon. So, here we are now. I am Apostle-Elect Jeremiah Prude, and I currently serve alongside my Dad, Chief Elder Joseph L. Prude at New Hope Fellowship Church International located in the renaissance city of East Cleveland, Ohio. I’m glad that our paths have crossed, and it is my prayer that what I learn about God along my journey will be a blessing to you!
