πŸ™πŸΎ Jesus, thank You for Your never-ending, unfailing, and unconditional love. All goodness comes from You, and we pray for Your continued blessings.

God, please protect, hold, and comfort our LGBTQIA+ siblings. Though Pride Month is a celebration of Your beautifully and wonderfully made children, it can also be a reminder of others’ hatred, rejection, and oppressive actions and behaviors.

Help us remember our identities through You. We are a reflection of You, a Love that is LOUDER and a Light that is BRIGHTER. Keep our hearts soft and abundantly full of love.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen

πŸ™πŸΎ Gentle & Holy One,

We thank You for the many ways You have nurtured us, raised us, encouraged us, challenged us and accompany us still with Your guiding Holy Spirit.

You have loved us like a Mother whose love is eternal and knows when to enfold us and when to send us forth. May we have hearts like the Mother towards Your holy & broken world, bringing healing in Your Name in all we do and in all that we are! Blessed Be Your Name Holy Mother! Amen

✊🏾 Juneteenth marks the official end of the enslavement of African descended people in the U.S. The original legal declaration was signed into law by Abraham Lincoln January 1, 1863, which instituted The Emancipation Proclamation.

β€οΈπŸ’›πŸ’š Racial Justice Ministries of the United Church of Christ invite you to engage in prophetic remembering to confront the challenges of our time. Nurturing a movement toward justice for all is a sacred call for liberators and freedom fighters to seek wisdom from Old and New Testament Prophets who stood up against the empires of their day and to gain inspiration from modern prophets who lead the resistance to oppressive tyrannies, ideologies, and theologies. Racial Justice Ministries and wisdom teachers of the United Church of Christ National Ministries invite you to listen and learn how to thrive during national and global threats from authoritarian leaders.

πŸ™πŸΎ Redeemer,

We thank you for the radiant light of your love that you’ve shown us.

Help us to be a reflection of who you are so that we may share your light with the world, and bring hope to the least among us.

Amen.
