The new Illinois Neonatal Intensive Care Leave Act applies to organizations with 16 or more employees. Check it out if your church has at least 16 employees. Churches with fewer than 16 employees: learn about it as a possibility for your church.

The Family Neonatal Intensive Care Leave Act (NICU Leave) entitles eligible employees with up to 20 days of unpaid, job-protected leave while a child of an employee is a patient in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
