The UVC Confirmation Class needs your help! For their service project, they focused on how trash that ends up in waterways, parks and the streets harms the animals and ecosystems it comes into contact with. To find a way our church can help, they decided to partner with TerraCycle to collect hard-to-recycle items like plastic bags, batteries and pens/pencils/markers. Since most people aren’t sure what to do with these items, they usually end up in the trash.

The UVC Youth believe it’s possible to make a difference, but to make this happen, they need to raise $700 to cover the initial cost of providing containers at two UVC sites (West and Wicker Park).
