The Religious Garb Bill (SB1697), one of the items from CIOGC's legislative agenda, will have its first hearing in the Illinois House of Representatives tomorrow at 2 p.m.! We urge the community to sign a witness slip to show support for this bill, which will ensure that an employee cannot be discriminated against for wearing any clothing or accessory in accordance with their religious beliefs.

In the spirit of Ramadan, the month of generosity and giving, CIOGC and South Side Community Services (SSCS) have organized a food drive to provide an opportunity for various Chicagoland mosques and community members to give back to Muslim families in need.
