The Holy month of Ramadan is upon us - drawing near. It is the month in which Allah sent the Quran of Mecca to be revealed to the Prophet Mohammed by the Holy Breath (Ruh Al Quddus).
Fasting during the month is enjoined upon us by Allah himself, in the Holy Quran of Mecca. --- Our Prophet Noble Drew Ali himself proclaimed the Quran of Mohammed as the revealed word of God Allah (See Moorish Lit.: " _Moorish Leaders Historical Message to America_ ").
As, "Our Authority" states we have a mandate to teach "the faith of Mohammed", also stating the MSTA derives its "authority and power" to teach said faith -- from the Great Quran of Mohammed, and our Nationality and Identification card declares us Moslems under the divine laws of the Holy Quran of Mecca.
Fasting is enjoined upon all Moslems, by Allah. As it is a form of spiritual weight-lifting, and a form of purification. Those who engage it with the intention to test their inner strength - will find success (Allah willing).

Moors, we use a local sighting method to signal our start of the Month of Ramadan, and fasting. Allah says in the Quran (concerning the crescent 🌙) - "start the fast when you see it, stop fasting when you see it". Therefore...
Home Office will Give the Word to Go, when the birth of the crescent 🌙 is confirmed. In the meantime, we invite everyone to go out and sight the moon with your children. If any of you clearly sight it (without doubt), send pictures by replying here, or email to [email protected] .
Upon seeing the birth of the 🌙 moon, we set our intentions to fast that night, and then begin our fasting the next morning.
