This past Sunday, we were not only honored to host Bishop Jeremiah Williamson, but truly blessed to have him officiate our Sunday service. ✝️

It was an especially meaningful service as we celebrated the confirmation and reception of the faith of two of our parishioners. Congratulations to Wendy and Cathy on this special milestone in your faith journey! ❤️

We were also delighted to welcome the Adirondack Song Dogs, who made a special appearance and provided all of our beautiful music accompaniment. 🎶

Following the service, we enjoyed a light lunch filled with laughter, fellowship, and great conversation. It was a wonderful time of sharing and community. 😊

Thank you, Bishop Jeremiah, for joining us and making this Sunday so special. And congratulations again to Wendy and Cathy!

🍲 Taste N See 🍲

On the menu this week: Chicken with Noodles 🍜 and Lentil Vegetable 🥕🥦 soup!

Our next soup-making day is Monday, August 24th at 4:00 PM at Good Shepherd, 6343 State Route 9, Chestertown.

We’re always grateful for extra hands to help with chopping, mixing, and all the fun that goes into making soup! 😊 If you can join us, drop a comment below!

We’re excited to share that Bishop Jeremiah Williamson is not only coming to visit us—he will be officiating our service this Sunday! ⛪️

📍 Parking Update: Thanks to the kindness of Word of Life, additional parking will be available across the street in Word of Life’s parking lot. There is also a crosswalk just south of the parking lot if needed.

🥪 Light Lunch: A light lunch will be served following our Sunday service, and we hope you’ll be able to stay and join us for fellowship!
